value for money. comfy beds, tea and coffee supplied in your room, great shower. The food was very good and reasonably priced. no separate area to have food so very noisy having to have it in the bar area. outside seating area tables were dirty.

Really nice hotel with a decent bar/restaurant. Rooms were nice but could have been cleaner. Had some signs of possible historic damp and cups looked dusty. Large TV, comfy bed and respectable bathroom. Reasonable rates, fair prices at the restaurant and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very good The member of staff on reception (Tracie) was extremely friendly and sorted my booking issue with minimum fuss My booking.com reservation did not appear on the hotels reservation system which resulted in a wait while my details were transferred

Could have been better! The rooms were tidy and clean and beds comfortable but the pillows were stodgy and more like sandbags! The signage and directions to the rooms needs to be clearer! I booked 2 rooms for my wife and I (room 173) and 2 friends room nearby (172), all good until the night when our friends could not sleep for the noise of relentless stamping around and banging from the room above thiers, they said they thought the occupants were on drugs or something??, any way as result of a sleepless night they left for home at 7.00.am without breakfast. I find this rather embarrasing as I persuaded them to come and stay over after our night at the ELR, as we have stayed here on several occasions for this in the past. So I am not happy about their experience!! The breakfast was limited, had to ask for fried eggs which were not great, and bacon poor standard, beans were cold and limited choice of fruit and yogurt.

Staff very friendly. Rooms are decent. Don't be surprised if you get welcomed by bottles of bear outside and mass parties. Gym decent as well as pool.

You get what you pay for Fast check in. Room I got was spacious. Ambiance of the room. Bed was comfortable. Atmosphere and the restaurants downstairs were nice. Heating/ cooling systems. Complimentary water not supplied. Bit dirty outside the window. No cups in washroom. No mats in shower. Noisy neighbours but hey it’s not the hotels’ fault, it is the walls.

Very good The staff were excellent and very friendly. The breakfast was nice. In my opinion the bed was hard and I woke with a backache. I thought the room was quite basic for what I paid.

Very good The Facilities were good and the room was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't like that as a paying guest, I was expected to pay for parking. I feel that as I was staying for 3 nights midweek to visit family that parking should have been free.. I also didn't expect to have to pay for towels in the pool and had I known this, I would have brought my own.

Very good Room was clean and big enought for 3 ppl Breakfast was very poor, small choice. the next day food was like leftovers from the previous day. which was associated with poor quality of food - it was dry. the Service doesn’t respons to comments related to this. stay with breakfast included = Lost money.

Well this hotel has turned into a money making machine compared to when i stayed here before, you now have to pay for everything unless you up grade your room which i did paying an extra £10 but the extra was not worth it, luckily we stayed saturday night had we stayed midweek and not upgraded we would have had to pay parking fees at £5 a day, we got lost trying to find our room and was told everyone gets lost we had to go in the lift go down a corridor get into another lift then down some stairs, dinner was a simple request my wife had fish gujon wrap, what she got was fish finger wraps that were grey in colour and not fit for consumption, breakfast was not worth the bother ,undercooked scrambled egg was the only option along with hard bacon and hard sausage, but there was a continental option also, all in all not worth the £120 we paid.
