I held my third charity event at The Village Hotel Bury on Sunday 23rd October 2022. What an amazing day. Senior Sales Coordinator, Jessica Greenbank, was so professional and attentive and made sure all of my requests were actioned to perfection. The staff on the day, Megan and Beth were ahead of everything and made certain the day ran smoothly and went above and beyond. The waiting and bar staff including Euan, Georgia, Aisha, Anya, Lewis, Sophie, Tal, Amelia, Isabella, Kieran worked so hard. They were polite, professional and fun. I genuinely can't thank the hotel staff enough. I have already booked for next year and they all know this will be my annual event in aid of Bury Hospice. A massive thank you as always.

It was good nice staff on reception and at breakfast. Annoying that the pool was closed but I understand it needs a refurb

I have mixed reviews about the Village hotel. Having used the gym and frequented the other facilities, I don’t feel the service always measures up to the ethos The Village Hotel.
This leaves me in a quandary whether I want to continue there or not.

We used one of the 'inspiration rooms' at the Village Hotel, Bury to hold a recruitment event for Fairfield General Hospital. We booked out the room from 8am-5pm and everything ran extremely smoothly! The staff were friendly and were able to help with any slight problems we had. We were provided with food at lunchtime and complementary drinks all day from the fridges and hot drinks section. We will certainly be using their facilities again in the future and are looking forward to hosting there again!

Rooms were ok - mine was dusty and not the cleanest. Nothing major - just no attention to detail.
Service was fine - bar staff were lovely. Dinner service seemed a little chaotic at times though.
The location is the main problem. This is a hotel and private member gym. There is somewhat constant comings and goings on the main carpark which my room faced onto. The noise from groups hanging around outside, cars racing and novelty car horns went late into the night. Dodgy looking exchanges between vehicles and individuals.
And then to top it off, our van was stolen from the car park during our stay. Only discovered on the day we were leaving (there for a work conference). Staff seemed less than concerned and just told us to report it to the police.
Wouldn't go there again personally. I can't mark it down on everything as it was technically an OK stay. Depsite the loss of the van which I accept the hotel can't be held totally responsible. The carpark is ANPR and CCTV monitored but there will always be theives who don't care. I'd like to see some form of control of the car park though from security staff.

Would recommend highly for a simple, pleasant overnight stay. Great breakfast. Staff helped with Wi-Fi issue and provided it free without asking. Room was very clean and beds comfortable. Easy check in and out.

I have stayed here on a few occasions now as my work does training nearby. I really can't fault the place. The staff are always happy, polite and friendly. The food is great, (although menu could be updated) and the rooms are always clean.
I had to phone the hotel before I travelled to explain that my training had been moved to the next day so I wouldn't be turning up on the monday. Sarah answered the phone and was happy to sort things out for me. On arrival it was Sarah who greeted me. It's always nice to be greeted by someone with a smile.
All the bar staff were excellent too but the two I interacted with most were Alya and Lizzie (I'm sure that were there names 😀). More service with a smile from them both

All of the above makes the Village Hotel Bury a great place to stay.

We went to an event hosted by the Village Hotel. It was a Sunday Dinner with Elsa and Anna. The host was amazing and made us feel so welcome. We weren’t keen on the desert and she noticed without us saying anything and offered alternatives.

The actresses playing Anna and Elsa were amazing. They made our daughter feel so special. Sometimes she can become overwhelmed when there are lots of people but as soon as Elsa held her hand, her face lit up and she was so happy.
