I recently arrange a Charity Ball at the Village Hotel Bury within the large function room. Rebecca the coordinator for the Village was great, always quick responding to any queries and generally helping put the night together with my requests.
Also Megan who was in charge on the night made sure the night was a success responding and arranging staff to last minute change of plans/requests.
The Charity Ball was a huge success and part of that was down to the Village staff and when we plan the next one we wouldn't consider looking at any other venue

Stopped here a few times over the years, the management lack an eye for detail, cloth covered chairs in the bar area are disgustingly dirty, some of them i would not sit on in my work jeans. Same dirt on the floor of the bar all week. Overall disappointed.

Great value for money. Everything really. Fantastic facilities and really friendly and helpful staff. I was only there for one night but it was perfect. Nothing.

Overpriced for the service Local The bedding was really badly stained. Dust all over the room woke up with a bad chest. Breakfast had a hair in the beans. Next door neighbour was slamming the door repetitively after reception were told.

I stayed at the Village Hotel in Bury, Manchester for 8 nights in total. This was tor a work related course. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff were very attentive and had breakfast, lunch and evening meal each day. Particular mention goes to Beth, Claire and Ryan for them making me feel welcome.

Bedroom beautiful. Make sure corridor doors closed! Help with other guest (which hotel can't control). Being loud in early hours!

We stayed just 1 night and the hotel was in the right place. Nice breakfast. We had reserved a room in advance and the hotel was flexible about us checking in late. The location was good for us. The breakfast was very nice. There was a problem with the cystern in our bathroom, we reported it on checkout.

Very good I upgraded to a club room which was very nice good size, shower also very good and a huge TV. The burger from room service was quite nice. Considering the quality of the room it missed a few small touches. There were no biscuits and no decaf options on the tea tray. The website mentioned sky TV in every room but I couldn't find it. There was 24hr reception using an app which I thought was not good at all. Didn't get any reply in over an hour to my question.

The beautiful shower leaked over the marble foot tray, causing dangerous flooding leading me to use the only towels to mop up the pools of water, I didn't have time to complain as I was there to attend a wedding reception and was already running a little late.

Live only 25mins away. Next time will go directly home. Room spacious enough for our quick overnight. Breakfast was edible and varied. Bed was comfortable. The location. The swimming pool. The long trek from ground level lift to reception and too many steps from ground level to reception, even though impressive. Should have brought the wheelchair. Screaming kids in breakfast bar. Road noise from M66. Noisy residents outdoors until 0320hrs. No working lift from reception to all floors. Noisy fan (even Dyson!) in room.

Very good The family room was spacious and comfortable. We was allowed access to the pool which the children loved. The bar is a friendly area to eat and drink. I think it is slightly pricey

Hotel was really good but the bar staff were incredible, Aliyah, Sophia and Sophie at the bar area were superb and so welcoming, they really made the stay so warm and welcoming! I would highly recommend staying here just on the fact how well your treated by the bar staff!

The whole experience which was expertly facilitated by Bec was excellent from start to finish. She was extremely helpful and professional in organising everything for us and we continue to enjoy working at the Village daily.

We stayed here as part of a wedding party, the wedding being elsewhere. It was a budget type hotel but the rooms were clean and comfortable, the beds were comfortable including pillows which I always find a problem - they were great! The shower was good and the included breakfast was fine except for the scrambled eggs which were very very watery
