A nice hotel with friendly staff with good facilities had an enjoyable stay apart from little sleep. Liked everything about the hotel, nice open bar/breakfast area, nice rooms/gym/pool facilites, great that it had abit of entertainment/singer on also Lack of sleep for myself/wife & little girl, due to the room above walking about all night, banging chairs etc , from the birthday party that was on in the hotel that night, I know we weren't the only ones to have this in our group after speaking about it the following morning. Ruined what was a lovely stay and resulted in the scores been lower than they should be above.

The hotel is great, the team members are always wonderful, very friendly and helpful if I ever needed anything. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The leisure facilities are top quality too. Would highly recommend.

I booked a last minute family break for my 9 year old daughter, her friend & I. My daughter has a gluten and dairy intolerance, so I wasn't expecting to be able to eat in the restaurant and spend our restaurant credit. I was pleasantly surprised when they could do her a gluten free chicken wrap, though. They couldn't guarantee the chips were GF, but the wrap was sufficient for her.
Our room was clean, the beds were comfy & the towels were plentiful. 2 bulbs were out in the room, but that wasn't the end of the world.
We used the pool during the family session (2-7pm on Fridays). The lockers are free, towels are provided at the gym reception and the pool was on the warm side of cool.
Breakfast wasn't as good for those with a gluten intolerance, but bacon, beans and 2 slices of pre-buttered, gluten free bread I'd thought to bring from home did the job for my daughter.
I'd definitely recommend a family friendly visit. The only things we'd change would be:
1). Not having a singer in the restaurant in the evening. It was far too loud for the kids, which meant we were in and out at lightning speed - no relaxing evening with a couple of drinks for me.
2). Gluten free breakfast choices and oat or coconut milk for vegan or dairy intolerant guests at breakfast time.
We will definitely be back.

We booked a last minute stay on the day of our anniversary and found the staff were so attentive and considerate. They even posted a card under our door! Along with a complimentary drink. We will definitely return! Thanks Jay & Emma

Stayed for one night and found the whole experience excellent. Leisure facilities were very good and food from the bar extremely tasty. Room clean and very comfortable. Breakfast very good. Special mention to Jay for his welcome on reception and Jade for getting us back into our room after issues with the key card. All in all a hotel I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. Many thanks

price for the room is high when you know what you get for it. when you like a bed and tv that is oke. ( if you are 1.95 tall you need to sleep diagonaly in the bed otherwise you don't fit.. Room 208 has the best view of the hotel !

Pleasant The staff were lovely and friendly. The location was good. The room smelt on arrival and I needed to air it out. The carpet was filthy The family room that I booked was opposite the lift so people banged their doors all night and I could hear everyone coming back from their night out. All shouting

Room was lovely and big but it was directly opposite the lift and I could hear guests banging doors and shouting/talking until 1am when hotel staff came up. The family rooms are not situated together so we were opposite people who wanted to party. All staff are lovely, great location. The carpet in the room was filthy and it smelt of weed on arrival so I had to air in out.

We had our daughter’s 18th birthday party last 5th of March, all the staff were accommodating, specially Clare. Also, to Nyle Arceo, who assisted us with our queries in a professional manner and helped us a lot on that night for our friends who had booked few rooms. A very good experience. Definitely will book another party.

Organised a party for my grandmother’s 100th birthday. Joanne was excellent in ensuring that all details were attended to. On the day the staff were friendly and again were on hand for every little detail including nipping out for some candles for the cake! All in all a fun and well organised experience!

Good Room was OK, but (as is often the case) totally inadequately lit. If you provided a bright light in the middle of the ceiling, I wouldn't have to use it if I didn't want to, but if you don't provide it, ... This was doubly an issue because the tiny window looked straight out onto a blank wall, which meant that the room was naturally very dark.

We have been to a few village hotels in the past. The last time before a couple of years ago before covid. This is our first time to Bury. We booked a room which included an evening meal and a fizz with breakfast too. We have had a meal at village hotels before and thouroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The food has now changed to a burger place. The last time we had a meal at one of your hotels it was lovely with a 3 course meal which included chicken steak etc. a proper sit down meal with fizz. This time not wanting a burger it was fish and 8 chips with sauce and peas.who wants fizz with this?. It was very draughty too . The day after we sat facing a big Tv with surround near the football kids table. We sat on the couch facing a very dusty surround. I couldn’t stop looking at the dust and dirty plates scattered around. I felt I was in student digs. Do you actually have cleaners. The dust was thick so couldn’t have been dusted in at least 2 weeks. Other than this it was a good spa break shame on the food choices now and the lack of cleaning.

The room had two double beds, on the first floor, overlooking the entrance/car park area.
It was clean, had all we needed, tea, coffee and extra bedding available.
We booked an early check and was given a room as soon as we arrived, so an early early check-in.
We had a snack at the bar and then breakfast, no problems at all with either.

I was so delighted with the service and friendly staff on this day. We had a good food and drink service which is looked after by Claire and making sure that everyone been served and had enjoyed the lovely food. Our friends who are checked in and the birthday celebrants family are so happy for the help and assistance of NYLE at night time after the party. Thank you so much for making this event a success. More power on your company.

I would just like to say what a great experience I had at the wedding fair at the village hotel on Sunday the 6th of March. As soon as I walked in I got a friendly welcoming by Jessica who very kindly walked me to my stand & showed me where to set up. She would stop by multiple times during the day asking how things were going & if I needed anything.

Thank you again for a great Wedding Fair Jess.
Many Thanks
