Not that great for young children. No bath in room. Staff great though. And if there’s a wedding on you probably won’t sleep due to guests wanting to continue their party in their room. The staff throughout our trip were really good though, they sorted out our noisy neighbours at 3.30 am and helped entertain our children in the pool!

Exceptional Spacious rooms, bar area nice , friendly and food was good The boisterous behaviour in the spa and mends changing rooms , the language was ignored by the life guard The cleaner came at 10:45 when I’d booked a late check out

14 of us attend the event on 18th December, Christmas work do. Five of us booked a room. Check in wasn’t a nice experience, although we were helped by friendly staff, we were disgusted that there is a £5 parking charge per car. That was £25 spent on top of the room charge of £49.50 plus £7.50 for breakfast before we made it to the rooms. We had a
Family room which was spacious and badly lit. The other two rooms were
smaller and still badly lit.. All rooms lacked amenities, no tissues, no fridge/mini bar. They did, however have irons and hair dryers. Apparently information about the hotel is online, not in room.
The event itself was a poor attempt
for a Christmas party. The man behind the computer played music via a lap top and didn’t interact with the guests at all; in fact he looked as though he didn’t want to be there. The sound quality wasn’t
good either. Soup to start was delicious; but the main course was less than average and the pastry on the two veggie dishes was so hard we couldn’t cut in to it.
Staff cleared plates when people were still eating, took away peoples’ drinks while they were dancing, even full glasses. We all felt disappointed with the evening.
Those of who stayed nearly missed breakfast as it finishes at 9:30 and is cleared away within minutes.
We won’t be returning either to stay or attend another party night.

Sat at the bar had a right good time socialised with Jamie-Lee, Ryan, Betty and Amy. Felt right at home, hard working team, couldn't do enough. Definitely staying again. Receptions staff were more than helpful and I'll be booking again soon

Very pleased with my recent stay at The Village Hotel Manchester Bury. Me and my partner always tend to stay in The Village Hotels but I like to look at reviews on Trip Advisor first as I know some hotels can be outdated. There were not many recent photo reviews so I was a little skeptical about this hotel but I needn’t have been.
Our room was lovely and large. The view from the window however was very disappointing (a brick wall) but it was late at night when we checked in so not an issue.
Didn’t interact with staff only a guy on reception who was okay not overly welcoming but heyho.
We would definitely consider staying in this hotel again

Very good Huge rooms and big beds Great facilities The doors are pretty noisy and over Christmas there’s lots of noise from parties but it’s to be expected

Village Hotel Bury Everything. It is a great hotel. Fab rooms. Quick check in. Friendly attentive staff. Breakfast was spot on! Will go again, but will ask for a smoke free part of the hotel. Only complaint is that I could smell cigarette smoke in our room all night. It affected my sleep as I detest the smell.

If you need to stay somewhere outside Manchester. Look no further. This hotel has everything you need for families or business trips. If you can afford it upgrade to the Club rooms which include large LED TV's with the full Sky package and free use of the pool and gym facilities.

The 3rd Village Hotel we have stayed in and they are all excellent both in terms of facilities, cleanliness and value for money. Disabled access at Bury was inconvenient but other than that everything else was of a very high standard.

I visited for a works Xmas party. The room was freezing cold when I arrived with only a wall heater I put this on and I must say once the room was warm it stayed warm even after the heater was off all night. The doom was ok not the cleanest but by no means was it filthy. The downer was out of 5 vehicles we had parked in the carpark 4 were broken into the 5th survived because event security disturbed them. I would stay again but £100 a night I would shop around the local area.

Great rooms but feels more like a 'party hotel' The shower is fantastic! Bed comfy too. The app didn't work the whole time. Walking through reception was sometimes intimidating due to the amount of drunk people around. We could feel the music vibrating our room up until 0100.

Exceptional Very nice hotel. Lovely decor and very comfortable. Room came with an iron and ironing board, hair dryer and a fan. Bathroom and shower facilities were excellent and parking was free! The bar was great and had really nice food (big portions so you got what you paid for!) Also great If you're out to watch any sports as there are plenty of TVs so no matter where you sit you could see a screen. Would highly recommend staying. Drinks prices were inconsistent depending on who served you (we got the same round of drinks and paid £9 and also £18) £18 for two drinks was ridiculous so hopefully this was the mistake and not the actual drinks prices!!
