Amazing staff in the bar. Very accommodating. A young lady named Amy was extremely attentive that night serving food and drink in the bar, was very polite and funny making my stay more than enjoyable. Would definitely be returning

If you need to stay somewhere outside Manchester. Look no further. This hotel has everything you need for families or business trips. If you can afford it upgrade to the Club rooms which include large LED TV's with the full Sky package and free use of the pool and gym facilities.

Always good to stay in house for a works do! The check in and out service were excellent and the room was well ordered and clean. Everything worked and plenty of towels were provided. Great experience overall.

The 3rd Village Hotel we have stayed in and they are all excellent both in terms of facilities, cleanliness and value for money. Disabled access at Bury was inconvenient but other than that everything else was of a very high standard.

I visited for a works Xmas party. The room was freezing cold when I arrived with only a wall heater I put this on and I must say once the room was warm it stayed warm even after the heater was off all night. The doom was ok not the cleanest but by no means was it filthy. The downer was out of 5 vehicles we had parked in the carpark 4 were broken into the 5th survived because event security disturbed them. I would stay again but £100 a night I would shop around the local area.

Great rooms but feels more like a 'party hotel' The shower is fantastic! Bed comfy too. The app didn't work the whole time. Walking through reception was sometimes intimidating due to the amount of drunk people around. We could feel the music vibrating our room up until 0100.

Exceptional Very nice hotel. Lovely decor and very comfortable. Room came with an iron and ironing board, hair dryer and a fan. Bathroom and shower facilities were excellent and parking was free! The bar was great and had really nice food (big portions so you got what you paid for!) Also great If you're out to watch any sports as there are plenty of TVs so no matter where you sit you could see a screen. Would highly recommend staying. Drinks prices were inconsistent depending on who served you (we got the same round of drinks and paid £9 and also £18) £18 for two drinks was ridiculous so hopefully this was the mistake and not the actual drinks prices!!

Fantastic hotel with fab staff - they are all so helpful & friendly. Can be very busy at weekends. Rooms spotless as always. They can be a little dark at times, maybe could use a little more lighting or brighter lights.

Comfortable hotel with loads of amenities It was a popular, bustling place, especially within the local community. The rooms were super: spacious, clean and modern. Great value for money. We especially took advantage of the Starbucks in the lobby. The location wasn't fantastic. You needed a car or a taxi to get anywhere.

A large hotel just off the motorway in Bury, part of the greater Manchester metropolitan area. The hotel functions as a lively and important centre for the local community with festive weekend parties, a buzzing bar and restaurant, a Starbucks and a swimming pool where swimming lessons are given. For guests there is not much else in the direct area and you need to have a car (or order a taxi).

We were greeted on reception with a big smile and a happy 'welcome to village hotels' by Jay on reception. He helped us get checked in efficiently, explained everything we needed to know and even offered to show us to our room. It was freezing outside with ice on parked cars, but the hotel was warm and atmosphere inviting. We had dinner and breakfast and was looked after in both cases very well. The overnight stay was great with just one negative comment and that is that the corridors were cold and the room on arrival was extremely cold with the heating set to zero, as it was icy outside a warm room would have been a better welcome.
However the bed was enormous and comfy and the massive wall mounted rv with all the sky channels was a great edition. Also in the room there was tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board.

We came as a party of 5 adults and 2 children to have Sunday lunch. We had to wait ages at every stage. The deal is good but the service is so slow and the food is average. Our vegetables were hard and parts of the meal including the meat were lukewarm. All the adult meals came out ten minutes before the children’s ones and having already been there over an hour at that point my children were very hungry and not happy that theirs wasn’t there. We only got it then because we chased it up and there was no apology for the delay. The staff were mostly friendly with one exception but I don’t think we will be back given the extraordinarily slow service and the average food.

Nothing really wrong but I wouldn't stay again on a Saturday. Didn't eat. Room was ok. It was noisy until late with music filtering up to 2nd floor. The doors closed noisily if patrons did not ease the doors shut and none of them seemed to We stayed on a Sat night and I suspect that other nights might be quieter There is a disabled lift but to use it lengthens the walk to enter.

If you want a quite hotel stay away at the weekends The room was vary spacious, great big Tv and nice shower. The bar/restaurant is like a pub rather than a restaurant so lots of TVs showing football and live music. I was happy with this as travelling alone for work, but if your away with a partner and looking for a nice restaurant maybe look elsewhere. But a big shout-out to the breakfast team who let me in early as I had to go to work. Thursday night was fine, but Friday night is full of party people, banging doors all night. 3.00am in the morning group of 15 or so outside talking away but the noise just wakes you up, then when they go back to bed more slamming doors. What’s really annoying is there’s no reception so you can’t phone down and ask them to do something. Cleanliness was a bit mixed with left over toiletries in my room from previous guest, numerous light bulbs not working in the room.

Room, bathroom and staff were excellent. Evening meal was good, but the live music was off putting. I liked the fresh fruit and yohurts and the croissants. The scrambled egg did not look appetising. I decided not to take any. The coffee was weak and not very warm. Several of the plates for the cooked breakfast were dirty. I used the fifth one I picked up. All of the plates - even clean ones were wet.

Attended my friends wedding and stayed over for 2 nights the rooms are lovely ,but dark as the there is no central light just a floor light in the corner . They did an amazing job on the wedding ceremony and meal, but kept us waiting around for ages to start the evening while they put the dance floor down .This needs to be down at the start so guests don't start to leave .
