A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Loved the POOL !! The staff were wonderful. Food was good and varied. For us, it worked well as we held an event in The Hub and all our delegates loved it. We always use Village Hotels as he standard is really high and everyone looks after you. The pillows were a little too hard for my comfort. The lighting in the room was very dim, not good enough for putting makeup on, had to use the bathroom which meant my husband had to vacate rather hurridly. The decor is lovely and the showers were very good indeed. Just neeeded more light in the bedroom.

Can’t fault this hotel accommodation service and staff so friendly. Would definitely recommend a stay here. The theme night was amazing we did dancing through the 80’s we were celebrating a special birthday. Great venue and great service.

Excellent hotel and staff..good clean and comfortable rooms.. plenty of TVs everywhere if you are into sports!..my wife found the steps up and down to the front of the hotel difficult..there are a lot of them..and very steep!..no doubt management will address this so other people with disabilities will cope!

10/10 all round - great staff, amazing service. rooms are big, comfortable and clean. upon check ini was created by name as the receptionist remembered me from a previous business trip, I was treated like a member of the family. the bar and grill is great, food amazing and so reasonable. easy to access in location, the village hotel Ashton is surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets and local amenities, making it great for business to pleasure. with metro link stations just over the road the access to city centre is great and quick to boot,

good balance between costs and what you get.
Nearby Bury market and centre. Very near to the motorway.
breakfest could be better but okay. The quality of food and the prices during dining and lunching were excellent. Very good rooms with good beds, big screen and comfortable bathroom.

Booked for 16 days and generally enjoyed the stay with free swimming & gym offered at no extra cost Overall the best place to stay around Bury for the price. The food is good and the staff very helpful. Swimming pool and gym excellent and very clean. Rooms are getting a little tired with wall paper starting to peel. Shower starting to show black mould around base. Extractor fan on all the time in the bathroom. Cannot turn it off.

Comfy beds. Great location. The beds were very comfy. Breakfast was excellent however they don't tell you that you can order eggs as the self service has only scrambled. Love the showers. Great location. Loved the pillows. Lovely toiletries. Iron and ironing board. At first they didn't have bins in rooms. So had to put rubbish in plastic bags. Then they put a bin in. Didn't like to self check in however they did greet you half way through. Not the greeting a hotel should have. Not enough milks and sugars in the room has to keep asking. We were told the bar was closing but continued to serve drinks. Had to get water glasses from the bar and took them up as there was none in the room

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with family and lots of luggage ar this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the2 days we were in the UK

Simply the best service I have ever received. Helpful staff, easy to use facilities for our team development conference. Easy for motorway. Easy walk to a park or cinema complex just down the road. Highly recommended.

Ok for overnight stop, food both evening and breakfast should be a lot better Location and cleanliness A step too far, in order to streamline your check-in, you now have no idea of your Room number, as no card pouches with the room number on is now provided. Are you Hotel? Old people like me need help in remembering their PIN numbers let alone room nos!

Good short break at village hotel reception staff were very helpful only problem was fire alarm going off at 2am. And nobody seemed to know why or how to turn it off this went on for about an hour and meant we had a very disturbed nights sleep

I was only there for 1 night so didn't really get a chance to use all of the facilities as I arrived at 6.00 pm. The hotel was very modern bright and airy and was fairly quiet for a Sunday evening. I had a 7.00 am meeting the next morning so the self checkout was good as you just left your key in the room, nothing to sign or hand in, which is great when you are leaving before 6.30 am in the morning.

Expensive for what it is Good size for superior room. Food was hot and tasty. Staff were pleasant and friendly, The rooms were a good size for a superior room, but lacking in Some departments, No fridge, bathroom Extractor fan was as much good as a chocolate fire guard, no Room safe, no grab rails in walk in shower had a step up, and leaked all over the floor, only one lift to the hotel floors, which broke down, had to use service lift, as cant climb stairs, No Fire exit light in room, when fire alarm went off.. Breakfast was a let down, no cold meats, cheese, Or continental items, being as this is a place for all nationalities. No quiet seating away from Huge TVs that only had football on .. Disabled parking was a nightmare, especially when the hotel allows gym goers from outside without blue badges to use them or badges that weren't theirs..and patent and child use ..
