Reception was quick and efficient. Room was clean and to a good standard. I ate dinner in the bar. Not a great selection for a veggie but not the worst I’ve seen. Service was quick. All in good value and I will return.

Stayed overnight for a Christmas Party Night (Private) Welcoming and friendly staff on reception, there was a mistake on the booking and we were given a twin room and not a double, they upgraded free of charge to a club room, overlooking the river, very clean and spacious. Shortage of towels an shower/shampoo provided as containers empty, which we reported to reception on our departure as only discovered in the morning
Breakfast was buffet style, as much as you wanted, staff again friendly an attentive, very smiley welcoming young lady greeted us as we entered for breakfast
Short walk into Bury town centre
Would recommend

A very large hotel which does what it does very well. Just well too busy, too big and impersonal. (Staff friendly though). Food and drink very expensive. Merlot bland and tasteless.
