Having recently had a second child and still living in the house myself and husband bought 10 years ago we decided to convert our 3-bed semi into a 4-bed semi. Enter Mark and Scott of Horizon Developments. The 2 brothers came and looked at the job and gave us a full written quote before booking us in to undertake the work. The quote itself was excellent; breaking down the phases of the work and the payment stages so we knew before work began how much the job would cost us and at what stage in the build we would need to pay for the work so far completed. The job was completed within the time guidance Scott gave us and any costs which differed from the quote (approx £500 extra in total) were discussed and agreed before the extra work was undertaken. What most impressed me was the logical, systematic and tidy approach they took. Everyone dreads the upheaval and disruption that building works in the family home will inevitably cause and with 2 young children and the fact the extension required the knocking through via our family bathroom, we were expecting the worse but I can honestly say the approach with which Horizon undertook the project meant that for the most part we hardly knew they were there. We have been left with a beautiful new extension and would certainly recommend Horizon.
