Writing this review the very same day i've passed my test. I came to Toad, and more particularly Ben, after having a terrible experience with my previous instructor. Ben however was a totally different experience, friendly, patient, enthusiastic and motivating.
Despite being nearly 40, and finding learning something new quite difficult, i do feel i'm a much better driver now. Previously i was being taught how to pass the test - with Ben i felt like i was being taught how to drive.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Toad, and especially Ben - they both deserve all the plaudits they have received on this page.

Thanks to Sue, I have finally passed my Driving Theory Test! This kind lady helped me for 2 hours in her free time while having a Costa Coffee, testing me on multiple choice questions. Not only does she get you to pass she allows you to understand the answers you are asked. I am a confident driver and without Sue I would be lost! Unlike any other driving instructor you will guaranteed, not have as much fun as you do with a lesson with Sue. She helped my friend and I overcome our fears of roundabouts by going round 17 of them on the way to Hunstanton Beach. Thank you Sue and although our lessons are not up yet I will definitely miss them!

By far the best driving school! I started with Jemma who was absolutely brilliant and pushed me to work hard, and really got the best out of me to begin with and helped me to start building my confidence and courage . Then I had Sue take over and I've never been pushed and challenged as much as I was with Sue..I think you could say a bit pushy and naggy at times, but that's exactly what I needed! She really pushed me to the max and got everything that she could have done out of me. Sue is exceptional and just the kind of person that everybody needs to gain confidence and pass their test! Not to mention she'll make you laugh with her stories and cheeky friends!

Can't thank Sue enough for her patience and perseverance in seeing my 17 year old daughter through her test first time! It took me 5 attempts to pass so ! didn't feel hugely qualified when reassuring my less than confident daughter however with Sue's help she did it. First Time!! I would highly recommend Toad's, especially for younger, nervous drivers. I will definitely use them for my younger child.

I started learning as an incredibly nervous driver, but after persevering with lessons I've just passed first time despite only a month or so ago forgetting how to take the handbrake off!

Thank you so much to Sue who managed to correct 7 years worth of bad habits in just 8hrs of training; meaning I passed my trailer test first time! Very relaxed, yet professional approach and would most definitely recommend to friends!

Sue was fantastic at getting me through my trailer test in a really limited time. She was very quick to assess my ability and was able to concentrate on areas which I was weaker on. She is very patient, kind,and an absolute professional, with surely the cleanest and best kept vehicles in the business!! Thank you Sue.

Have just got back from passing my trailer test and can't recommend Sue and Toad's Driving School enough. Sue was a professional throughout and tailors lessons to what you are already capable of. She really knows what she is talking about and puts information across in a friendly and easy way. No wonder she is one of the best instructors about.

I cannot recommend Nicola from Toad's School of Driving enough. After having a horrible experience with another driving instructor I thankfully found Nicola and never looked back. Nicola has got a personal caring touch, she is so knowledgeable and has got such an easy logical way to explain the safe and correct way of driving, from complicated roundabouts (that used to scare me so much) to all of the manoeuvres. I really enjoyed her teaching technique, my lessons were fun and relaxed, but created around my driving ability and improvement needs, I felt myself growing more and more confident and relaxed with each lesson. Nicola helped me to develop from a new nervous driver to a confident "I can do it" person, so I passed my driving test first time, despite the rain and wet roads.

I am so happy I decided to learn with Toad's School of Driving. My instructor was Ben, who was so brilliant. Ben was really calm and understanding as well as being a great teacher. He was so supportive and helped me get through my nerves. Not only were the lessons fun, but they were also very well constructed and informative, and I looked forward to every lesson. I am so happy I learned to drive with such a great school and I whole heartedly recommend them.

Toad Driving School has been a fantastic learning experience for me. An individual that was petrified of the whole test experience, and couldn't even comprehend the idea of one day being a liscence holder, was transformed into a confident, happy, grounded driver. I thank Toad Driving School for there patience, there kind words, and most of all there compassion and willingness to succeed. Sue once told me, 'without negativity, you have the ability to do anything' and it turns out she was right!! I know that I've left Toad Driving School with not only a liscence and a lifetime of freedom, but great friends that I will stay in contact with for a life time.

I chose Toad's school of driving, as I had so many positives recommendations from friends. Sue is absolutely the best driving instructor I could have ever asked for. Her positivity makes you want to learn more and more. She gives clear and concise instructions and takes as much time as is needed, with lots of different teaching methods, I feel safe and confident. I look forward to every lesson.

After reading the reviews here I didn’t even consider another driving school... Sue goes above and beyond what you could hope for from a driving instructor… an absolutely fantastic teacher that really knows her stuff! Incredibly patient and kind, I've always felt completely safe and been given plenty of support. She has helped me build confidence and skills whilst having plenty laughs along the way! I can't recommend toad's enough! Thank you Sue!

Nicola from Toad's has now taught all 3 of our teenagers to drive .We would highly recommend her as she has always fitted lessons around their timetable changes and exam periods ,being very adaptable She has always communicated with us regarding progress and has worked particularly hard to overcome confidence problems.

After having a bad experience with a previous instructor, Nicola from Toad School of Driving took me on and completely changed my perception of driving. Her lessons were always fun but well informative building my confidence and ability to be able to pass my test first time with only one minor.
