Jerry Parnell was friendly and efficient in the job of quoting for and installing our new boiler . The job took exactly the time he said it would, and the cost was below that of the other 2 firms I got quotes from (but not so much below that it felt 'too good to be true'). We had a minor post-installation issue with one of the radiators and he called in to fix it on the same day that I let him know about it.

Jerry fully refurbished our Bathroom, En-suite and Cloakroom. Jerry helped me from the initial design, right through to practical advice on how I could maximise the available space. All three jobs included fully clearing out the current rooms, then preparation for tiling both floor & walls, completely new electrics, bathrooms suites, fitted units & a multitude of accessories. I'm completely happy with the work that was carried out. It was to a very high standard and at a fair price. I found Jerry thoroughly professional and friendly, always taking extra time to clear everything away and leave our house as clean as possible at the end of each day. Parnell Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend, I have no hesitation in highly recommending Jerry to anyone in the local area who needs the services of a good friendly and thoroughly professional plumber.

I moved to Chippenham many years ago, and as I was new to the area, I didn’t know which plumber to call to help fix an issue. I didn’t have a recommendation to follow, but I was extremely fortunate - I selected Jerry Parnell from the local directory. He has subsequently completed a wide range of work for me, including boiler services, installing radiators, refitting showers, and some emergency call outs. He has always been prompt, courteous and completed the work to a very high standard. I have no recommendation in recommending Jerry – indeed, I have recommended him to several people, and they too have been impressed.

We have used Gerry for 2 major projects as well as being our first call for routine repairs/emergencies. In addition to 2 full bathroom installations with plumbing, tiling, and electrics as well as the fixtures, fittings and cabinets, he has fitted our new boiler, our water softener, fixed the heating system and replaced taps. His work is excellent and carried out with great skill to his own exacting personal standards. He even redid some tiling in his own time and at his own expense when he wasn't satisfied, even though we were! When we needed him to come out and fix the heating at short notice, he came round late in the evening to ensure that we our guests weren't left in the cold. I have been totally satisfied with his work ago the extent that I have recommended him to good friends, which isn't something I do very often. I can heartily recommend him.

We feel impressed and lucky that Jerry Parnell fitted our new boiler. He didn't inflate his quote with a bigger boiler than needed, as some did. The price we paid was exactly as quoted, no additions. The work was efficient and on time yet with careful attention to detail. No mess was left, the clean-up was as thorough as everything else. Jerry was personable, good humoured and knowledgeable. We'll use this firm every time anything to do with plumbing is need, good to have someone who works to such high standards.

Jerry Parnell has worked for me since 2006 and has carried out major projects ie relocate and replace boiler, install shower etc, as well as more routine work such as boiler maintenance, changing taps, sorting out loo flush . His work is of a very high standard, and he works quickly and efficiently. All paperwork and documentation is produced promptly as required by the regulatory bodies. Most importantly if I have an urgent problem I know he will turn up and give me some priority as a loyal customer. I would recommend him without reservation.

I thought I would just give an overview of my experience of having Jerry do work for us as I think my reviews are a bit thin. In the first place, Jerry is an excellent plumber and heating engineer and his charges are very reasonable. However, that is the least of it, really. His real value is that he is dedicated to looking after his customers. So if we have a mystery leak just before we go on holiday he can sort it while we are away. If we have a complex project involving electrical and gas fitting work, he will help both with the planning and the ancillary work that an ordinary tradesman might balk at. The bottom line is that Jerry is definitely a person you should aim to have a long-term relationship with because he will not let you down.

We were recommended Jerry Parnell by friends when we moved to the area seven years ago, and we were not sorry for calling him. He's done work on both properties we've resided in since then, from jobs such as leaky pipes and radiator installations, to a boiler breakdown mid-winter. I couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by Jerry. He arrived bang on time, completed the work without fuss and overcame the obstacles of my old heating system without drama. I returned home to find no mess or debris as Jerry had left everything spotless. Finally, the invoice was in accordance with his estimate. I have no hesitation in recommending Parnell Plumbing and Heating for a first rate job.

Needed a heating engineer to fit new boiler and clean system. Rang three or four local numbers, Jerry was the only one to reply. Arranged for the job to be done. Jerry turned up on the day arranged and did a fantastic job. We were not left without heating or hot water for anything but the shortest of times during the whole three days. I would not hesitate to use Jerry again or recommend him to others.

I had no heating and no hot water and visitors coming for the weekend. I called Jerry having never used him before, arrived the same day and mended the combi boiler until new parts arrived on Monday, as promised he was straight back out and fitted the new parts. Amazing job at such short notice. I would not hesitate to recommend Jerry.

We've called Jerry in the past for work in the house upon hearing glowing reports from friends & neighbours. Just had him round again at our new place. An excellent service, honest and trustworthy. I have a old house that has seen it's fair share of DIY and bodge jobs over the years. I wanted to fit a water softener in the kitchen but there was also a lot of work to do to tidy up some leaking and chaotic pipework. Jerry came when he said he would for a look at the task. He worked long hours to complete the job on the same day and all was left tidy both under the sink and in the kitchen. I am really pleased with the work he has done and the way in which it got done. Totally reliable and cares about the quality of his work. Would happily recomend Jerry.

We have used Jerry now for a good few years and he has completed a few jobs for us. What we like about Jerry is that he can do it all (no waiting for a sparky - Jerry does it; tiling - no problem - Jerry can do it!) and is so flexible. He is tidy, polite and his pipework is so neat - even when it is all confined to an under kitchen cupboard!
Jerry has just completed a complete refit of our bathroom and he did pretty much everything except the plastering and the painting - he even took the floor up and put a new sub floor down first.Before that he did the plumbing and complete new electrical installation (to building regs) for a new build garage/summer house down the end of our garden. Top job. We also used him a few years before all of this to help fit a new kitchen where again Jerry did all the plumbing and electrics.

Jerry pulled out an old bathroom and re-fitted a new one for me in February this year, doing everything from plumbing, tiling, laying lino right through to the electrics himself. Jerry was prompt, helpful and offered some useful suggestions along the way - making for a first class new bathroom. Thank you for your help Jerry - all much appreciated.

Parnell Plumbing & Heating Ltd has just finished stripping out and re-fitting a bathroom for me. Jerry followed the spec to the letter, offering some helpful suggestions and improvements along the way and was very accomodating when slight alterations needed to be made. Having carried out the whole project from start to finish, Jerry was a pleasure to employ and has produced a finished product of the highest standard, on time, willingly and to quote.
