When I first visited the Cosmetic Dental Studio in Clacton, my self-image was just about as poor as it could be.I have always hated my looks and in particular hated my gappy,uneven teeth.I was also very wary of dentists, due to previous bad experiences but Abdel Khan is different. He is just the sweetest, most caring man and he (and his lovely assistant Nikki and receptionist,Sandra) treated me with nothing but kindness, from the moment I set foot in the door. Yes, my treatment had me on an emotional roller-coaster. That was purely down to my lack of self-confidence though. Abdel seemed unfazed by my tears and ongoing fears. I felt no physical pain from any of the treatment I received and I never felt a nuisance if I needed to phone or call in to check something out. With my treatment now completed, I have a 'proper' smile that I am slowly learning not to hide. To be able to look in a mirror and not instantly hate what you see is something more special than I can put into words. I cannot thank Abdel and his team enough. To anyone out there needing dental work and harbouring fears of going to a dentist.....well,I think you can guess who I'd recommend.

Spirit of the Dog is a unique charity, giving hope to both dogs and owners who are having problems. They need your support to enable them to have enough funds to buy and build a rehabilitation centre, where more training will be available. The centre will also ensue they can eduacte the community around the issues of the safety of children around dogs. The volunteers are working tirelessly for this goal. The team are dedicated and the canine behaviourists are highly trained and experienced.

I was extremely pleased with the professional service that I recieved from the Mobile Carpet Showroom. Dermot came to my house on time and was extremely helpful, his prices were very competitive and they could not be beaten by other stores. He then came back within a few days and fitted my carpet which looks amazing. I could not recommend him more.

I have conifer hedges and Mr Cheetham has cut them last October. Everyone says that they look very nice. He will do them twice a year. Mr Cheetham was very professional and left no branches. Very neat and tidy. He has a very nice personality. I can recommend him to everyone.

I was lucky enough to experience Cafe 19ʼs first Steak Night - it was a great evening all round but most importantly, the food was superb. A good choice of starters, including their excellent fish soup, leads gently into the steak, with a selection of meats and sauces. Better still, you can choose between new potatoes or chips and if some members of your party arenʼt into meat, thereʼs always vegetarian options. If youʼve got room afterwards (and I found it too hard to resist!), thereʼs a delicious dessert menu and I nearly forgot the organic wines which are great, so get a taxi when you go! After 2 years of grubby windows or smeary marks when I tried DIY cleaning, I was lucky enough to find Alex Spanton. Dirty windows are a thing of the past, the monthly clean takes place when promised and you get service with a smile! Itʼs the little touches which finish it off - heʼll even do inner doors if you have them. A great service I can unhesitatingly recommend.
