We hired the golf simulator for my sons 10th birthday for him and 9 friends. The games room was a perfect venue to keep the all entertained. The food was great value. The staff were fantastic and really made the day, making it very relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you to Sam for your help with the organising

We decided to have a family (28of us and from all age ranges)get together and wanted a friendly ,picturesque and reasonable venue that was easily accessible. This place ticked all the boxes and more!! The food was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the venue was simply stunning.

As the management team from Croydon and Sutton Samaritans Branch we had a very productive all day planning meeting last weekend at Farleigh Golf Club. The staff there made us feel really welcome and kindly set us up with a meeting room that included a large flat screen TV for our presentations.

We were able to take a relaxing coffee and lunch break outside in between to keep our energy up. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the food was excellent at a reasonable price. Its also a stunning venue.

Just want to say a great big thank you to Sam and all the team at Farleigh Golf Club for providing such a great venue for our family celebration (28 people). We were in Function Room 1 with its own access through a pretty garden area from the car park. Everything went really smoothly. Our sit-down meal was served hot (where appropriate) at the planned time in an efficient, unobtrusive way. All the staff were extremely helpful and courteous towards myself and my guests.. going the extra mile at times. My family were well impressed with the venue, food and service. Only one little hiccup with the bar tab but that was quickly resolved.

Farleigh Golf Club and Restaurant was the chosen venue for my daughters 18th birthday party. The events co-ordinator Sam was absolutely lovely to deal with and was so helpful in meeting our requests and ensuring that the function room was perfectly laid out on the day. The food and beverage Manager Mark Goodwin, and his staff provided a first class and polite service on the evening, with the food being of an excellent quality which far exceeded my expectations for a finger buffet. The venue in it's entirety was exceptionally clean and being set in beautiful grounds added to the ambiance of the evening. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone. It was top drawer quality all round. Thank you very much x

Sam at Farleigh booked an excellent afternoon tea for 8 mummies...we had an awesome experience...food was delicious...staff were hospitable...and the ambience was priceless...what more can I say? It was amazing! Thanks u to all the staff. xx

the surroundings are fantastic and it is a really good place to relax.

I went back the next day for a business lunch, it was very busy and service and food were excellent. It gets a 5 star for that.

My son and his fiancé held their wedding at the Farleigh and from the moment the venue was booked to the very end of the day we cannot fault the staff the surroundings the food and the care and attention that was taken in making a nerve racking day flow so well.

Our guests were made to feel welcome and not herded around. The bride and groom opted for a BBQ wedding breakfast. Never having attended a wedding like this, we were a little apprehensive. It was fantastic. everyone enjoyed the food and the presentation was as good as you would expect from a silver service function.

The staff were so attentive. we had a little malfunction with the dance floor, which I brought to the attention of the wedding coordinator. It was dealt with before I returned to the room.


We had a young child with us who fell asleep and the staff even did a stint of baby sitting for us.
Nothing was to much trouble.

The DJ (who was recommended by the Farleigh) was absolutely fantastic. The dance floor was full all night. He really was the cherry on a brilliant cake.

would I recommend this venue? without a doubt.

The best wedding day ever, from all the Maryan and Dunkley Family members!

Farleigh Golf Club was our choice of venue to hold our wedding. We saw a stand at a wedding show and grabbed a book as you do. After weeks of sorting through all our books we looked at Farleigh’s. Our first port of call was numbers, we needed to fit at least 140 people into our wedding day due to both families involved having large numbers of close family. So Farleigh ticked that box as there are two registered rooms for wedding ceremonies. One for around 80 seated and one for around 160 seated.

Next was the price, comparing it to all the other venues that matched the numbers problem, Farleigh were around one third cheaper than the rest. At first we thought that this price difference would so when visiting all these venues. Well after narrowing it down to five venues both my now wife and I preferred Farleigh over the others just due to how the place was presented, the way we were handled and the general feel about the place. Farleigh’s staff members were very welcoming.

The run up to the wedding was very easy with Farleigh being patient with us, knowing how much of a big day it was. They even helped with talking to some of the contractors which Farleigh supplied to us. We were even allowed to house our own center pieces for the tables. We didn’t have to use these suppliers specifically, but we thought that these people were tried and tested so used some of the contacts. The wedding day went without any problems. Thank you to Mark for making the change overs go quickly, smoothly and for dealing with quires efficiently.

A big thank you needs to go to Sam, Farleigh's event organiser for all her help and support. She gave me good advice when I needed it and offered to help all the time. I cannot and will not fault Farleigh on anything. Food was amazing, staffs was considerate considering the amount of kids we had their running around the place and the amount of compliments I have received from family members since the wedding is beyond anything I have ever experienced.
Thank you Farleigh for helping us achieve the most unforgettable special wedding day.

We booked lunch here for a group of mums whose children were having a party there. I haven't been to the golf club since it changed ownership and the decor is fantastic. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, bright and airy with amazing views of the golf course and surrounding hills.

The menu is comprehensive and reasonably priced, the staff were smart and very helpful.
There was an issue on the particular day with staffing levels, but they firstly brought us a free round of drinks and the manager then came across and personally apologised and explained the difficulties, which was appreciated.

I will definitely try it again with family as I think it will be a lovely venue for Sunday lunch. I also understand that they do a fantastic breakfast!

My friends held their wedding reception at Farleigh Golf Club. As the unofficial event co-ordinator I was involved in all stages of the planning. From our first viewing through to the end of the wedding day the team at Farleigh were and are amazing. A big thank you to Sam Donovan who hit the floor running having taken over from the previous Events Coordinator (Lauren). The takeover was seamless and she was invaluable and extremely patient with the amount of calls and emails that went between us. On the day the staff were excellent. A big thank you to Marc as anything I asked for was done promptly and with a smile. Another big thank you to Simon, who managed to save me from many a mini meltdown and who went far more than the extra mile in making sure that any kinks we had were smoothed out. I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to EVERYONE who wore a Farleigh uniform. Every member of staff that we encountered on the premises were helpful, friendly, polite, efiicient... I could go on and on. All in all, we had a fantastic day hosted in an amazing venue and assisted by a fantastic staff team. Thank you all at Farleigh. I would recommend you and sing your praises to anyone willing to listen.

We held our wedding reception at Farleigh Golf Club on Friday. It was more than amazing. Farleigh were there to make sure everything I dreamed became a reality from the very beginning. A special thank you to Sam Donovan who took over co-ordinating our wedding half way through, she quickly caught up to what our vision was and made me, as a bride, feel at ease and calm through out the whole process. Nothing was too much to ask for and every member of staff went out of their way on the day to ensure every guest was happy. Also a special thank you to Marc, who helped make the running of our day run so smoothly. He was always on hand when we needed him and made sure my groom and I were happy at all times and we knew what was going on and when. The food was amazing and the service we received was perfect. Every guest said it was the best wedding they had been to. Myself and all my guests will defiantly be recommending Farleigh as THE venue to hold your wedding day and/or function.

We were 11 for lunch in Nineteen and had a wonderful afternoon, considering they also ha a wedding party at the same time, which never affected the restaurant .
They were even able ti accommodate our mucking their menu around and did it with a smile and good humour. Our waiter was very good and made our day, Nineteen is clean well arranged and the views are wonderful over the golf course and the atmosphere great.

My daughter recently married at Farleigh club and had her reception there too. I cannot praise them highly enough. The ceremony was perfect and the reception and evening were also perfect. The staff were attentive and discreet. The meal was quickly delivered to every table still piping hot. We were never rushed at any time. There was plenty to eat in the evening too.

An excellent time was had by all according to the feedback I have received from many of the guests who were there. I would recommend them to anyone organizing an event.

Stopped off here recently with a couple of friends to try their Afternoon Tea,a couple of my friends were a bit dubious as it was a Golf Club, but how wrong could they be. The setting is very relaxing with views over the rolling hills of Surrey countryside. The scones and pastries were delicious and you could tell freshly baked, unlike a lot of venues these days with a good selection of everything. The service was excellent and friendly and we felt quite pampered. Cannot recommend this venue enough and will definitely be returning with more of my friends.

this restaurant has a fantastic setting i have attended several functions here sometimes good sometimes not . coffee in the morning is quiet and ok but my lunch was spoilt by too many unruly children not under control . will try again maybe when schools resume in September

Enjoyed a lovely carvery roast, with good choice of starters and desserts. Service provided by waiter Daniel was excellent, he was friendly, helpful and efficient. An asset to the venue.

Amazing venue for my wedding. I used a marquee and though at first I was worried the wall provided a barrier to the Suite it was still amazing as the layout was excellent. Food was more than enough as guests who arrived late still had something to eat. Sam Donovan was great - having taken over a few months before

Held a birthday bash for fifty guests, room, food, service were excellent. will recommend it to all family and friends. Thank you to all the staff who made it a brilliant day.

The surroundings and decor mark this venue as being very exclusive and expensive, but we enjoyed a delicious family lunch here with excellent service, presentation etc at high street prices(jacket potato £6.95). Recommend.

Three of us went to XIX at Farleigh for afternoon tea. The interior was well designed and the grounds are well maintained and extensive, giving a pleasing aspect over the golf course. The afternoon tea featured the three classic elements - sandwiches, small fancy cakes and scones - served with individual pots of tea. The sandwich selection was good, including some unusual additions to a selection of traditional finger sandwiches, such as smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels. The scones were also up to scratch, and were served with a more than ample quantity of clotted cream. However, the stars of the day were the fancy cakes, which were beautiful to look at and even more wonderful to taste. The selection included macaroons, which were perfectly crisp on the outside with a little gooeyness inside, with the chocolate ones being fabulously rich and indulgent, and a delicious lemon offering, whose citrusy zest proivided an excellent counterbalance. There were less than three of some varieties, so do try not to fight!

The tea selection was relatively wide, and there was something for most tastes. However, more care could have been taken over the service of teas. For example, a flowering jasmine tea came to our table served in an opaque pot, which marred our enjoyment of the magic as the bud unfurled.

The waiting staff at the restaurant seemed a little under confident, which was a shame because they have a fabulous kitchen team behind them. It would be good to see more conviction in their style of service, perhaps through some additional training or tasting.

Overall, I would rate this as an excellent afternoon tea option in the area. With a little investment in the staff, this could really become a gem of a place.

This was a one off joint birthday party for my wife and myself. It was the perfect day, we celebrated with approximately sixty of our relatives and friends. The room and food were perfect, and the staff were attentive and always available we cannot praise them enough. Thank you to all at Farleigh for ensuring that our once in a life time party will be remembered warmly by all those who were present.

I have been back at nineteen 5 or 6 more times since March this year when I gave it 2 stars. (the restaurant is part of a golf club). It is fair to say that i have seen a big improvement in the quality of the food and service. The place has never suffered by bad management; but now that the quality of food and the waiting service has improved, you are made to feel very welcome.

We all had a great evening, food was superb, the act was fantastic, and the staff got a fantastic balance of attentiveness, and friendliness without being overbearing! looking forward to the next event

Took my parents out for the night to see first hand the changes at Farleigh and the investment the owners have made. Wow! What a difference. The welcoming fire and entrance to the bar immediately made us feel relaxed and comfortable. The decor and furniture is lovely. Certainly not like a traditional, stuffy golf club. Our meal was good, straightforward and not pretentious.

The event was a success and we had a lovely evening. My only criticism is that during the meal the music was too loud for us to enjoy conversation. No problem with the volume for the singing act, but when he wasn't performing there was no need for the loud disco like background music.

We will be back though and are looking forward to enjoying a Sunday lunch sometime soon.
