My name is Jane McCann and I'm Chair of the West Mercia Crimestoppers Committee. I live locally in Droitwich Spa and worked for the Local Authority before joining the Committee which is made up of Volunteers. I am married and have two boys who went to school locally, who have just left uni and are working. I like to get involved with local issues and sit on the SaltFest Committee.
Crimestoppers is an independent Charity. We are not the Police or Crimewatch! We provide a number, 0800 555 111 and an on-line form on our website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org where anyone can report crime anonymously. We don't want to know who you are, just what you know, nor trace or record calls, you will not need to make a statement nor go to court. We also have a Youth brand, Fearless.org
We also work in partnership with business with our bespoke Business Associate Schemes, Local authorities and statutory bodies to help make our communities a safer place for ourselves and our children.
We also provide bespoke services to businesses and charities to help reduce crime within these organisations including the use of Integrity Lines.
