Went to a christening party at the Alexander Arms today when on arriving the staff where very welcoming and friendly and I have to say how clean it is . We stayed the afternoon the food was prepared and presented beautifully and tasted amazing I would recommend this pub to anyone big thank you kind regards B.Fuller 27/8/2017

An excellent pub, Greene King should use this as their flagship pub. The staff are brilliant all genuinely happy and smiling
It makes a nice change to go to a bar where there are plenty of staff . The pub was heaving but no one had to wait to get served. Also the food was excellent. Would recommend this pub to anyone visiting Eastbourne

Stopped in for a late lunch and we're pleased we did. The staff were friendly, decent beer and amazingly a whole section of the menu was vegetarian. My partner had the quiche which she said was the best ever, other than what she makes herself. I tasted it and was in agreement. Nice and cheesy unlike shop bought quiches which are too eggy.
Later that evening, we dropped in for a nightcap after enjoying a late night stroll on the promenade - open until 01:00, very handy. Again the staff were pleasant. When we come back to Eastbourne we'll definitely come back here.
