Great conference as always! Great Bible teaching, seminars, music with Stuart Townend and great Christian interest stalls. Well organised and welcoming helpers. Best Bible teaching in the South of England!

Somehow the Congress manage to book much more entertaining and appealing plays than their rivals in Brighton....and better prices plus one can park....so worth the drive.
Just wish they would finish the renovations. The building has now been plastic-clad for years. C'mon Eastbourne council - stump up the money!

Staying at Eastbourne for the Easter Weekend enjoyed a brilliant night out at the Congress Theatre seeing "That will be the day". The music, dancing and costumes were outstanding. A thoroughly enjoyably experience, so much so that we could not resist dancing and singing along to the last few songs.

great Theatre and great show - seats really comfortable. Isle seats are better and the closer to the front the better. The seats to the side seem to have a few restriced views so be careful when booking.

Visited this theatre for the first time and had a fab time. Lovely old building next door was the Winter Gardens and was joined by additional building between the two.

I like the seating in the raised stalls - uninterrupted view of the stage. You can pre-order interval drinks. Just wish there were a few more ladies loos!

The staff helped my profoundly deaf hubby to hear the whole performance using an individual loop. First class service. Hubby said it was the best visit to a theatre he had experienced. Top marks

The theatre is part of a planned refurbishment of the area around Devonshire park. The plans we viewed for this redevelopment look really exciting and will certainly bring this area into the 21st century and make a really good arts area for the town. We visited the theatre to hear a symphony concert which was very well staged. Looking at the planned programme, the theatre attracts some really good shows, concerts and acts.

At our age we don't talk much about spellbound and gripped - this music and dance extravaganza was the exception. If you are a fan of 'Strictly' you will already know about the Argentine Tango - this was a 115 minute live show of non-stop 'Argentine', accompanied by live music, some singing and some background humour. All so very cleverly put together by the stars themselves, congratulations to all involved in producing such a unique show. We have been going to the Congress Theatre for over 25 years now - we have never seen the theatre so packed. Clearly we aren't the only ones to recognise when such talent comes knocking at our door. A show for everyone!

The winter Garden Eastbourne is the most outdated, dirty place I have ever worked on a conference.
This could be excused if they made up for it in other ways, but they don't even the coffee is awful.

The audio visual staff were great, but the manager ( I own this venue, I can do what I want) was the most obnoxious event person I have ever met.

I will not not ever recommend this place for a conference.

My wife who suffers from claustrophobia is a bit hesitant to go to theatres unless she already knows the layout. I booked for us to go to see Jimmy Tarbuck a well known Liverpudlian comedian in his "one man show" at the Congress on Sunday 9th September. We went on line and checked out the seating arrangement beforehand and chose seats next to the exit in the front stalls. The front entrance of the theatre was being refurbished so that was a slight problem and the other was that we had to go up a flight of stairs to get to our seats.Once through the front doors there is a nice big wide foyer with the stairs to the left as we went in.The area is well lit and I had a reconoitre before to have a look at our seats.Once I had reassured my wife that there was no problem we went up the stairs ,went to our seats then back to the bar which is also upstairs on the same level before returning for the show.It is a nice big open theatre with nice comfortable seats with good views of the stage. My wife was now relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed Jimmy Tarbuck and even had a good laugh at his jokes.
