Booked this morning for the panto in the afternoon, so seats near the back, this still had a very good view - the slope of the stage is perfect.
The pantos here are always good and this year was no exception. In fact it was the best yet, what an amazing cast, not a big cast but it didn't feel that way.
The humour was non stop, the songs popular and a good variety. Singing was good, especially Prince Valient - and makes a change having a male play the male ! much prefer it that way.
The scenes included the usual palace etc but also a funny baking scene, a bouncy castle the size of the stage, and so much more.
I laughed and sang, and laughed some more.

Went last night to the panto.It was outstanding.The cast where amazing and the audience had a fantastic time.I think it was the best ever.

Love coming to this theatre. It really is a nice place. Seats are comfortable and facilities really clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's so nice to be back. Also they do a fantastic panto. Have been coming here for the panto for years.

Friendly staff. Ideal for children. Smeds and the Smoos Very enjoyable and well performed. Just a shame there wasn't a better attendance. Maybe better advertising! A good first theatre visit for our grandson. Just long enough.

The Devonshire Park Theatre is well worth a visit. Built in 1884 it is a little gem of a Theatre. Take time to look and find out what is on and I'm sure you will enjoy a night at theatre.

Went to see hound of the baskervilles. Not the traditional sherlock Holmes we were expecting but a version by 3 very talented and funny actors.
With a minimum of props and numerous costume changes they had the audience laughing from beginning to end.
