Can we first & foremost say a HUGE thank you to all the staff we encountered on the day, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left our 3 year old little boy was made to feel like the most important person in the world (which to him on his big boy birthday he was!), he was wearing a birthday badge & every member of staff we bumped into wished him a happy birthday & made a fuss of him. On top of this we had glorious weather & found the park to be perfect even for the fact it was quite busy. The animals are clearly cared for extremely well by the keepers, we experienced lemur land at feeding time & it was hilarious watching the lemurs interact, we also very much enjoyed the 'secret viewing' area at one of the monkey enclosures, especially as one little monkey came & had a sit down right in front of it for a few minutes! We had lunch at the fast food place & got exactly what we expected for what we paid for.....hot fast food, my husband is a very hungry person ;) & he wasn't left starving by the portion sizes either! We saw every animal there was to see including a trip back to say "bye bye" to the Penguins, we had 2 rides on Thomas (one of the main reasons we went as both my son & hubby are Thomas mad!), we went in kitty land, the maze, & both the play areas, had a good shop in the cuddly toy & Thomas shop & after an exhausting but fun packed 6 hours headed home. We came from North Kent which although not miles is still quite a trip (port lympne is much closer), & we don't feel we wasted the drive at all. The park, & all facilities were immaculately clean, & the staff were all friendly & helpful. We booked our tickets online taking advantage of the saving but I don't feel you are "ripped off" at all like some of the reviews on here state. Couldn't have asked for a more fun, exciting & pleasurable day for our little ones birthday, & we will definitely be back in the future!!!!!!! Take a bow Drusillas you did well :)

Spent a lovely day here with kids!
So much to do and didn't see everything as kids really liked the playground.
There are a few things that you have to pay extra for, but kids are just as happy if you don't do those.
We had great fun at hello kit world too.
Really want to come back again.

All the family got together for a birthday present for my daughter to work with the animals for a day and she said it was the best present ever. All the staff were very friendly and made her feel very welcome and had time to explain about each animal she was working with. She had such a great day she has said that she would love to do it again. She is now saying that she now knows what she want's to do when she leave's school and that's to work with animals. Thank you Drusilla's Park

We visited Drusillas Park for my sons 4th birthday. My daughter (6 in July) also came. Both children had great fun. They loved all of the monkeys and other animals. Lots of extra educational activities which my daughter enjoyed exploring.
They both loved the rainbow birds, for £1 you receive a small pot of nectar which the birds love to drink, great experience for them.
The play area is huge and kept them entertained for a total of 2 hours on and off! So much fun to be had.
We didn't realise there was a proper restaurant there until we were leaving so ate at the fast food place for lunch. Food was pretty standard there, as to be expected in that type of burger/chips place.
Both children enjoyed the hello kitty rides and thomas train.
It wasn't busy at all,it was perfect. We all had an enjoyable day. Not sure I'd like to be there on a busy day but last Saturday was perfect! Looking forward to returning!

We live local so come here often and haven't really been disappointed. We have a years pass...day tickets work out quite expensive but there is a lot to do here without paying extra. staff are pleasant and are often seen working hard. there is a nice variety of animals, 2 enclosures you can actually enter, plus a small farm animal area. a choice of in house restaurants and plenty of picnic tables. Large outdoor play area and small indoor soft play, mini hello kitty theme park (3 rides for kitty fans), paddling area, thomas train, mini maze and a few other bits...we spent 3 hours here today and didn't do everything. Children are nearly 4 & 5 so a perfect age to make the most of things. Best enjoyed when the weather is warm, but a fun day nonetheless and they put extra effort in for holidays like Halloween and Christmas. Well worth a visit.

We went with our seven month old, lots of animals and things to see. Staff very friendly, we nearly had our lunch in the bottom of our pram pinched by one of the lemurs!

You can get a pass out stamp so you can go to and from your car.

They have a Thomas train which goes round the park which is free so you can see the animals again.

Good day out and if you book in advance online I think there is a discount.

Great park with mixture of zoo animals, farm animals and amusements. All was free on entry. All the animals looked happy and well cared for. Lots of interactive activities for children and they learn a lot about the animals particularly about those endangered. Refreshments were reasonably priced. An overall great day worth a visit!

Drusillas kept the kids (7 YO and 5 YO) entertained for the whole day. the first thing they said when they woke up the following morning was "can we go to Drusillas today?"

We have an annual pass to drucillas and we use it very often. Great attractions alk year round. Loads of interactive displays and activities for the children and adults to enjoy. My children love it and really enjoy Lori landing where they can feed the birds. Watch out for the bird poo tho!

Went with a 7 year-old, 1 year-old and septuagenarian - everyone enjoyed themselves! The animals entertained the children - eldest child completed the trail and stamped each page in the free booklet, youngest one could see into the enclosures from his buggy and when standing, no need for me to constantly lift him up so we were both happy; and we were all impressed by the standard of the enclosures. There were plenty of seats along the way for a rest if needed, although it's fairly flat which made it easier to get around. The playgrounds were brilliant, great range of food offered and the ride on Thomas around the park was fun. Didn't make it into the 'Hello Kitty' part - it was just for girls according to my 7-year old!

A great day out. Expensive but it is always so busy, that it would probably be far too crowded if cheaper. We love the animals and there's a wealth of information targeted at the level (height and language used) of young children. A particularly good set up for disabled visitors. We decided to get annual passes, especially as you get a disabled pass with a free un-named carer.

We take our son here occasionally for a treat as it's quite expensive. But there's loads to do and kids love it. It gets really busy so it's best to get there early.

We particularly like the Thomas train, the paddling pool and the park :)

We found our day very relaxing. My daughter Sophie found all the attractions enjoyable and read all the fact boards as they were clear and at a height for all to see.
We found all the staff to be very helpful polite and went out of their way to make everyone enjoy the zoo. The thing I found as a mum and a carer is how clean the zoo was especially the toilets.

We will be recommending you to all our friends and family

Once again Thank you for a fabulous day xx

We had a fantastic day here, the children loved Thomas the tank and the Hello Kitty Secret Garden. Slightly pricey for a day out and its a bit cheeky to ask to pay extra for the inflatable slide! Overall would definitely recommend.

Perfect blend of zoo and theme park, doing an excellent job of both. Great facilities and a massive amount to do, easily filling a whole day. My 3 & 9 year olds had a fantastic time.
Quite pricey but well worth it.

My Daughter loved the stamping the book idea. In fact she was a bit obsessed with it all. She was definitely smitten with the Bats & Lorikeets, I spent a good £10 in there on the food but thoroughly worth it just to see her face full of smiles. It was only £1.00 a pot again great value.

I loved the new addition of Hello Kitty and the rides. We where lucky it was quite in that area as Tilly had more of her fair share on the rides and they were free....what a bonus!

She went on the vertical inflatable slide which again she loved and again well worth the money.

We had lunch in the restaurant by the exit. What a great choice of food and very reasonably priced. The food was delicious.I loved how family friendly it was.

Lots of parents pressing all the buttons and listening to the visitor information around your park.

I have to compliment you on the cleanliness of the park, exhibits, toilets and restaurants. I went to London Zoo two weeks ago and they could learn a thing or two from you guys.

Most of the Team we came upon where friendly and polite which I know can be difficult to find good team especially when they are so young. They all looked smart in their uniforms.

Drusillas should be incredibly proud of their park.

I have to say a great day out and so much thought put into being family friendly which I personally loved.

We love Drusillas Park, there is so much on offer from one place and its beautifully presented.

Our 3 year old loves the zoo, the amazing play areas and Thomas the Tank Engine as well!

Our 7 year old spent the whole day smiling and getting stuck in as the 'keeper for the day'. It was his favourite birthday present ("better than the iPad!") and a wonderful experience for an animal loving boy.

Julie the keeper deserves a special mention and huge thanks as not only was she brilliant, fun and so knowledgable and interesting, but she constanty looked after our son, kept him safe and aware of animals and the environment.

The foods was quick, freshly cooked and tasted great!

The kids are already asking when we can go back!

Our day started well when Guest Services sorted out my online booking error. Entirely my fault but they couldn't have been more helpful. I hadn't been to Drusillas for ages and was very impressed with the improvements they have made ... Starbucks coffee, Hello Kitty area, larger toilets in play area etc. everywhere was clean and tidy. For a warm day at the end of the Easter holidays it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Special mention for kayley in the bird feeding area who spent extra time with my teenage daughter (who has autism) and helped her to hand feed the birds. Highlight of our trip :) in fact all the staff were very polite and cheerful. Look out for the baby gibbon, adorable!!

My kids love it here. They have got just right. Enough play areas for the kids. The animal areas are informative and just enough and accomodates all ages. Food is good.

Hello kitty world is superb. My daughter loves it so much

well laid out informative zoo trail with lots of different animals fills a couple of hours at least, then into picnic and cafe area, to give afternoon at play in either a younger kids area or a more adventurous climbing play area for older kids. Ages 2 to 10 will love it all, as they get older may not be so good. Good picnic area with drinks and simple fast food or a reasonable selection of fresh food including salad bar, jacket potatoes plus pizza, fish and chips as well as a Starbucks coffee bar. Well managed, well kept and well worth a visit

I'm a bit of a theme park veteran now. Universal, Disney, Busch Gardens been to them all on both coasts as well. In Blighty most of our attraction parks are a bit poor cousin when you have experienced state of the art, multi million dollar attractions that operate in perpetual sunshine. Our daughter likes Chessington as much for the animals and zoo as for the rides and we go there a few times a year.

This holiday I took the 7 year old to Drusillas as we were already out that way. £35 for an adult and child, which wasn't too bad. Lots of animals mostly variants of monkeys. The bat enclosure had lots of bats flying around in a room where you stand to watch them. No glass screens here. The woman next to me screamed and ran out as one bold bat swooped towards her head like a demented seagull swooping on a bag of chips! Lots of the other animals literally close enough to touch. Not many staff around to advise people that poking there fingers through wire mesh to touch a monkey was possibly unwise.

10 plus kids on a large trampoline, a zip wire with a stirrup to put your foot into and and handle to hold-6ft + off the ground again with no staff supervision. Banana boat swings with older boys standing at each end getting close to looping the thing over. You get the drift.

I don't want to sound down on it. It was clean not too savagely expensive and she had a great day. Maybe I've just got used to thrills being sanitised and the health and safety first culture that pervades everything these days. Well, nearly everything. This place is straight out of my childhood in the 70's!

Man up, take some plasters, enjoy!
