A wonderful place to visit. We took our two grandchildren aged 6 and 7 and spent over 5 hours we only left as we had tickets for a circus. A lovely clean zoo with very helpful staff and plenty to do. Fantastic day out - kids loved it. Unusual, but very effective mix of adventure park with zoo.
The zoo itaelf would be a great day out without the extra attractions. A lot of time and effort has gone into engaging with the visitor from interactive information displays to fun educational activities such as racing against a cheetah. The enclosures, some of which allow visitors to enter (accompanied by a keeper) are extremely well thought out and sets this zoo apart from the many other more traditional zoos. Whilst the rides, adventure playground, water park, softplay and other park activities are probably of more interest to younger families, the quality of the zoo means this attraction will appeal to all ages. If you are in the area, a visit to Drusilla's is a must.
