It was a really great experience feeding a Linnie's Two Toed Sloth and to speak to a keeper who is as knowledgeable about sloths as me

Excellent day out with the family, much larger than expected and much more to do than anticipated.

Relatively small, we saw everything within four hours but could have made a day out of it if we stayed in the park / play area part longer. The waterworks for the kids was a great addition to combat the heat. Plenty of animals on show, more the smaller variety than the larger kind though.

Brilliant Place for Small Children!

Lots of animals to see and a good variety of rides! Play areas are really good.

Food & drink are as you'd expect fairly pricey, but plenty of areas for a picnic.

Had an excellent family day out, amazing animals to see, plenty of play activity play area's for children. We found the zoo staff friendly and polite. Considering we've not been for a bout 6 years, we was extremely amazed how good it was and how much you can do, if you are looking for a family day out, Drusillas Park is a must to do.

Drusillas fitted our requirements for a day out with grandkids at half term. Unfortunately some areas of the zoo were below animal keeping standards. I was particularly concerned for the ant eaters. Their enclosure was in a very poor condition. Mud and water had taken over this area and the ant eaters were prowling around the fences. The information board on these animal described their habitat as grassland. The condition of this enclosure was unsuitable. The weather had caused the ground to be unsuitable but it should have been managed better.
The need to pay extra for kids to use the inflatable slide after paying over £60 to enter the park didn't go down well either.
In general I thought the zoo parts seemed a little rundown whereby the play park area was very popular. I think it will be sometime before we return if ever.

Such a fantastic place for little ones. But on the pricey side for of one off visits, but of you live by and can get a membership it would definitely be worthy having. A really fun packed day!

If you're ever stuck with nothing to do and have restless kids this is the place to go.
We had lots of fun seeing and interacting with the animals, the play park is amazing with a bit of everything to suit everyone.
The food and cafes are pretty good also.
All in all you can't go wrong with drusillas.

We have visited Drusillas on several occasions and the children always have a great time. The restaurant food is good, and servings are generous and reasonably priced. The animals appear to be well cared for and the park is clean and tidy. The play areas are also fantastic. The only downside is the price - £80.00 for a day out for a family of four seems steep to me, especially as the 'family ticket' for four is exactly the same price as paying four normal tickets! This was more expensive than the last time we visited (summer 2017) and the only changed have been the two new 'theme park' style rides, which I would not judge as justifying the price rise. On the whole a good trip, and I would recommend it, but we regretted not checking the prices before we went.

Great for kids up to the age of 10. The zoo is lovely. Rides were a little disappointing, but great for the 3-7 age group. Enough to keep a family busy for 7 hours.
