The zoo was pretty good. It wasn’t busy when we visited the water area would be good on a sunny day. The big slides are xtra money, the rides are free. But probably for the 6 and under ,,lots of play areas my kids weren’t interested in

Great day out with our grandson who is three and a half. Lots to do and see. Although our grandson was more interested in the animated animal models and the playground he enjoyed stamping the booklet when he had seen certain animals. From our point of view there were some different small animals to see and everything was very clean. Good choice of food and reasonably priced. Would thoroughly recommend for all the family.

Lovely zoo. Animals seemed quite happy and active and there was loads to see. The Lorikeet walkthrough was great and for £1 you can buy bird feed and loads came to us and stayed on us for quite a while. We took a 1 year old, but I do feel the zoo is better for children aged 3 and up because she couldn't play on any of the playgrounds. Possibly might be better banding the zoo access and having just access to the zoo cheaper - but zoo is worth a visit.

A very long time since I had visited Drusillas and I went yesterday with daughter and grandchildren. We had a brilliant day there is so much to do and see. The zoo was great with a variety of interesting animals. Although there was a lot of people we didnt have to wait long for rides and it didnt feel crowded. Will be going back soon.

A great zoo! at first from the advertisements it seems like it's just for families/children, but it's actually great even for just adults going too!

Lots to do for the little ones and a mini theme park for the older kids. There's a place where you can feed parrots and they land on you and eat from your hand. Absolutely amazing family day out

A nice day for the kids but not much for teenagers so be aware. The animals look well maintained and plenty of facilities like eating areas etc.
Costa coffee on site so caffeine is available readily.

Good variety of animals. Good variety of activities. Some animal challenges broken. Very clean toilets. Food OK, but slightly over priced. Kept the kids amused all day (over 6 hours!).

The animals are great, the kids play areas are perfect. They have indoor, outdoor areas, a wet play park area and then there's the rides totally recommend Drusillas to all families.

I was initally impressed when I went with my wife and 2 young girls (10 and 6) We started off in the Safari Park which was fun and exciting for the kids and us. From there the experience went downhill. The brochure said that there was a small extra charge for some rides/experiences but the "small" charge turned out to be £5 per ticket with a deal on purchasing multiple tickets. I counted 6 things all around the dining area that had this charge including, bizzarely, a sand pit with buried bones????? Later on I dropped our bags we had been carrying into a locker room. Again £1 charge with no refund when you returned. It also took an extra £1 for no apparent reason but there were no staff nearby to complain to. The zoo area was good. But they had free books to record the animals and a notice on the wall saying pencils were on sale in the shop... The local taxis were in on it too charging us £12 to get to the station a mere 1.2 miles away (2 minute journey) The girls enjoyed it and on the whole it was a good theme park with fairly decent food (Explorers Restaurant - not the Oasis) but I cant help feeling a bit ripped off. This is not what I wanted to focus on and I know they cost a lot to run. Just BE HONEST on the brochure and provide free little pencils. JC
