Great night out at Eastbourne Bandstand last night watching an OMD tribute band.On leaving the venue we took a (dated and now used )flyer as a souvenir. Fast forward two hours and as we were about to go back into our hotel a guy pulls up in a car and accuses us of stealing Eastbourne bandstand property( worth £25)I offered to pay for it but he calls the police and they are on the spot within 5 minutes!! Glad to see they have their priorities right in this day and age!!😂😂Eastbourne must be almost crime free!😎

This “bandstand “ is. Much more than a bandstand...it is an entertainment complex from 1935.
It hosts wonderful concerts of all kinds during the Summer including 9 concerts in 6 days by the Central Band of the Royal British Legion aug 2-7 in 2020).
You can buy pints of Pimms too 😂

The perfect place to view all aspects of the airshow, the fireflies and grand finale fireworks on Sunday evening. EHA would like to thank The Bandstand for hosting us once again.

We visited the bandstand in August and saw the 1812 Overture, which is on every Wednesday evening. Wow, what a fabulous show, the band was great, the songs were great and the fireworks at the end were amazing. At just £7.95 a ticket (advance purchase) you cannot go wrong. A fantastic show.

We were walking along the prom having a look around when we came across this place, what an amazing venue and it looked like it there was lots going on. There was a proms style concert from the central band of the royal legion on the next night and my wife had always loved the proms so we booked up. What a fantastic night, great atmosphere in a really professionally run venue with great entertainment with everybody singing along a great contribution to our holiday.

Superb setting, great selection of programmes and such a great way to spend some time with what you enjoy. We love the brass band concerts but we also go to the “Look Alike” bands. The music of Queen is a fabulous show, but book early or the seats will be gone. Join the Friends of the Bandstand for discount tickets.
Take a seat cushion, an extra layer of clothes and a waterproof to ensure your comfort.
You will need to queue early for the best seats.

Now this should never be missed on a visit to Eastbourne as it is a treasure in the crown of Eastbourne.

A traditional bandstand hosting a range of concerts throughout the summer and winter, which appeal to residents and visitors alike, there is both outdoor and undercover seating, as well as a bar.

Be sure to check out the well publicised events at cheap prices and it’s a great way to spend time whilst in Eastbourne.

Walking past the bandstand it was quite impressive, it would be good to see what the atmosphere is like at a show. Worth viewing as you walk along the seafront.

During our stay this week we went to the Bandstand twice, on the Wednesday for the 1812 concert and on the Thursday for the big band swing night. Great entertainment and the 1812 concert is well worth a visit just to see the fireworks. Excellent value for money.

We have been here twice now and each time we have had a great time. The ticket prices are such great value for what you get and the whole ambience is relaxed and you can even get up and have a dance! We did!! It is an iconic location and everyone is up for a good time and you can buy drinks and merchandise with cash or card and from what we could see people did bring in their own food which is great.
Give it a go!

Went to see the Zoots doing a 70s show for my wife's birthday. They were absolutely amazing, and we are going to see them again on 26th October for Halloween. I love this venue, being outside dancing watching a great band. Fantastic place.

This is a nice old bandstand, and I know that my grandad played in it with the Royal Artillery Band decades ago. However, when we visited it was empty, which was a shame.

Amazing morning at the band stand on Christmas Day, it was our first ever Christmas down here and it was the best start to the day, my 97 year old grandad had a grin on his face the whole time!
Thank You!

Cliff Richard tribute Show, Jimmy Jemain & The Knight Shadows was a fantastic evening out.

Jimmy Jemain, has got to be the best Cliff Richard Tribute act in the world, bar none! Cliff himself, must be so pleased and proud such a professional act is singing his greats songs. A brilliant evening at the best Bandstand in the World. Eastbourne. The Knight Shadows were excellent as well supporting Jimmy. 10 out of 10 for a "toe tapping" night out, thank you Jimmy and band. Perfect!
