Amazing venue which is close to Eastbourne and perfect for young children. The main attraction are the miniature steam trains but toddlers are going to have a blast playing and climbing over all the play equipment.
The train around the lake is fun with lots of whistle blowing and great views. Itâs hard to believe you are so close to Eastbourne.
Another feature is the wildlife and we were lucky to have a relatively tame fox visit our picnic table.
A great attraction worthy of 5 stars. Only improvements would be to remove the 20p charge for the toy trains and ride.

As a family, we have been here many times, and each time had as much fun as possible! Kids especially like the ice cream! The playground is lovely and a great place to eat your lunch. Easy to get a membership and go there in your spare time! Love the miniature railway and the maze. The walk is beautiful with lots of activities for the kids to do so they don't get bored. I highly recommend!

We have been able to come back here now with Grandchildren, having spent many a happy year bringing our own children. :)
I am so happy that if anything it has got even better. It is always a worry starting to return to a place that holds such happy memories but I am pleased to say we will be coming back again and again.
Still run by the same lovely people and still the same happy, cheerful welcome and great service. Oh and a lovely miniature railway to ride on !! Along with a great park and lovely walks this genuinely is an all time favourite.

The Eastbourne miniature steam railway is an absolutely wonderful place to take our grandchildren.they thoroughly enjoy their time there. Over the last six years we have spent many happy hours there with our six grandchildren. It's a family run business and the owners and staff are always very friendly and welcoming. We have had membership there most of the years which is excellent value for money. Each year they add extra features and some wet weather cover. Thank you so much. Jane and Brian Janes.

Have been here several times always fun , grandchildren love riding the trains, and so do I . Have a lovely park for the children would say wear old clothes may be wellies as can be muddy at times , nice cafe , parking free only went to the gift shop first time of going there. Don't have to walk though on the way out which is good .
Can bring your own food which is good as children always seem to be hungry when out. All in all great day out for all ages.

We have visited several times over the past 2 years. The park is clean and reasonably priced with some lovely and interesting recreational swings/play houses etc. The miniature train rail is a huge hit and it is lovely to see young and old enjoying the facilities.
It also appeals to those with special needs - our own son included- and he just loves to watch the engines whizz by!
Refreshments are available and there is a nature walk by the lake. Lovely afternoon out.

Took our grandson here for the day, loads to do, good snacks on site, fantastic steam trains to ride round the lake on and very reasonably priced. Properly run by a family not a large company. Well done.

Although I don't live far from Eastbourne I didn't realise there was this attraction so close . The day out there was excellent with 3 trips on the railway , a lunch at their cafe including a special meal deal for children and visits to their numerous play attractions . It cost the three of us together less than the price of entry for one of the more well known theme park and very little time was spent queuing! All in all a very enjoyable was had by all , an ideal venue for younger children and considerably older adults .

Really lovely place to go with young children. We had a rather large family gathering here and it was great. So much to do and 4 young children that adored the train and 1 that wasn't so sure! But we had an amazing time. Very good prices and staff are so friendly.

We took our grandson here and was pleasantly surprised. There's a lot to see and do. There's a park a maze and a snack bar which is very reasonably priced. We went on the train that takes you around and you can see everything going on. Had such a lovely day.

A lovely place for a fun day out with the children! The place is spacious and clean, and well run. The play areas for the kids were lots of fun! The entrance fee is reasonable, we opted to pay slightly extra to have unlimited train rides which was good. Remember to take some 20p coins to set the little model trains moving! It is set in a stunning location, I would really recommend this place. Plenty of parking, places to eat and a lovely gift shop.

This is a great place for any children who love trains. The ride itself is a reasonable length around a lake.
When not on the train you can walk around the lake or make use of the facilities at the main station. These include cafe, extensive play area, gnome garden, maze and gift shop.
We were on holiday and spent half a day here. If we were local I expect we’d be here more often with an annual pass. Recommended!

Went as a group of three families during a camping holiday and had a lovely time. The children's ages ranged from 3 to 11 and they all enjoyed it. A small extra charge gives you all unlimited rides on the train and we took advantage of this as, although not very long, it goes through lovely scenery with a big lake, through a tunnel, under a bridge, over a bridge and past lots of play areas. These play areas can be reached during a lovely walk round the grounds, which include a maze. There is also a large play area near the station and also a cafe where we had lunch, which was good. There are also model railways which can be operated by 20p. Everyone there seemed to be having a good time, as we did. Thank you.
