Beautiful Victorian pier. Free to enter. Has the usual slot machines and amusements. Pier also has a chip shop at the entrance. £7.50 for fish chips and a drink. There is also a pub / bar towards the end of the pier fishing is allowed off the end of the pier but you need a day permit.

I've always enjoyed coming here and although off season is a little less comfortable with the weather etc........ It's a great way to spend an hour or two drinking, eating and using the amusements.
They do need to be investing in the end of the pier for 2020 as we were disappointed with not having full access to it all.

It was lovely we had a really nice time only thing was the rock shop as you go on to the pier every bit of rock was broken and did not look good at all the fish and chips as you go on to the pier was really nice and hot well done to them even the tea was hot wow now that was nice to
