took some gtreat pics of my partner on the pier, but it was cold and windy and apart from a walk around and some nice views there was not a lot of magic to the place

The pier has a selection of shops, amusments, food and drink. When we were there, there was a market on just outside the pier. Delightful gifts and food to purchase. I would recommend a visit to the pier.

Like all present day victorian piers...fun tacky arcade and pensioners gossiping and sipping greased tea in the victorian tea rooms...but lovely views and the splendid feel of times beautifully decaying cast iron and timbers...

Its not very long but it has been there for a very long time and rare in the fact it has never caught fire or suffered a major mishap.

It was a lovely walk down the pier but many of the outlets were closed and considering it was the easter holidays we thought more would be open for the children. On the plus side they are clearly looking after the place and doing some refurbishment which is good. A lovely walk down to the end but not much to do.

Thankfully this lovely Pier still keeps its traditional character with a victorian tea lounge, fishing area and some rather quaint attractions. the clothes shop looks like the 1970s have only just arrived, but you don't go to Eastbourne for high fashion. The pier is undergoing repair (slightly worrying barriers - keep the dogs away!) but should be lovely by the time it is finished. Worth a visit.

Good old fashioned fun.

The pier is undergoing major refurbishment work and will be much improved when complete.

No frills just a nice Victorian pier. Well worth a cisit and a walk to the end. Sto and have talk to the local fishermen.

Pretty small pier currently under re-construction. Nice to have a walk along in the nice weather but not a great deal to do on it.

On a nice summers day, we get lots here, few things can beat a stroll over the water on a classic pier. No screaming funfare - just tranquil views over the town (even better ones when the Camera Obscura is open)
There are places to have a drink - a Night Club for those who want later activities and a few shops.
Well worth a visit!
