Eastbourne Pier is beautiful and well worth seeing. Worth mentioning is the tea room and the âAtlantisâ club. The best thing is of course the view but always take a jacket with you as it can get quite windy.

Lovely new years day concert at the Bandstand. Highly recommended if you are in the area on New Years day, its a local tradition and the atmosphere is amazing!

Good views but sparse entertainment, though this is primarily due to the fire. However, the location is quite run down and could so with a lot if work. Perhaps less gold lions and more basic attention to chipped and flaking paintwork and tatty signs; the underside is particularly unsightly due to the numerous roosting pigeons and their attendant mess.

Beautifully refurbished, but don't expect brilliant amusements, much smaller here than either Brighton pier or Hastings seafront amusements. If that's not your thing then this is the pier for you!
