Apart from it being closed at the moment the pier in Eastbourne has not been the same since the main arcade (the Blue Room) burnt down. It is nice enough to walk around but the lack of attractions means that we would not stay long.

Very quiet but beautiful city to visit. The pier is very beautiful and very Californian style. It's a shame that there isn't something like it on Spanish beaches.

The pier is closed currently which means that you cannot go onto it. Having said that it still looks impressive and worked make a good photo. There is also a nice walk to take along the sea front and get some bracing fresh air.

The pier is shut, padlocked and impassable. It looks nice though, although it is a lot smaller than Brighton pier
