I booked for my mother’s birthday meal on a Tuesday night. The restaurant rang early evening to confirm we still required the reservation as I’d booked a week or so before…. So I knew it was going to be busy !
The restaurant is modern, contemporary and spotlessly clean but quite small. Service was prompt and efficient and happy to explain any questions on items on the menu.
When the food arrived it looked amazing and the taste confirmed this, we have tried all the other Greek / meze restaurants in a 25 mile radius from battle, but this is the best for food for certain. The share platters allowed us to try a range of the menu items will give the meze a go next time.
They turn tables around as quick as possible which I fully understand in a restaurant of this size. They would fill a restaurant five times the size on weekday nights, no doubt as they have got so much right ! Keep up the great work and service…..
Several customers who hadn’t booked got turned away on a Tuesday night, so booking is essential.
We’ll certainly all be back in the very near future.

It was lovely to be back at this restaurant where we had a fantastic meal. Like normal the staff and food were first class. This time we chose the Set Lunch deal with Tzatziki and Hummus dips, then Beef Stifado and Chicken Souvlaki (but we didn't have any room for dessert!) Couldn't fault it at all and everything is freshly cooked and so authentic. Excellent value for money. Thank you for a great lunchtime meal. Definitely worth booking in advance in order to avoid disappointment.

We decided to come to this restaurant for lunch as we realised we hadn't been back for a long time and another visit was way overdue.
We booked a table and it's just as well we did because it was really busy, even on a Tuesday lunchtime. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. Like normal the staff are so friendly, helpful and efficient.
We chose the Set Lunch Deal as we knew we wouldn't be able to do justice to the platters although they are amazing and a great way to sample several dishes. So instead this time we had two dips (Tzatziki and Hummus) followed by Beef Stifado and Chicken Souvlaki - all of which were delicious and so tasty. Sadly we didn't have room for any dessert although we were sorely tempted!The menu has changed slightly from when we were last here (before lockdown) but there are still plenty of items to choose from catering to all tastes and diets. But, if in any doubt, the staff will obviously be more than happy to help you. You won't be disappointed.
One word of warning: it is definitely worth booking in advance in order to avoid disappointment as this restaurant gets very busy due to its popularity.Thanks to Vasilis and his staff for making our lunch so enjoyable. We will be back again in the not too distant future for some more authentic and delicious Greek food.

Gr/eat has never disappointed us with their excellent choice of traditional Greek food. The owner, Visilis, and his staff are always welcoming and the ambiance feels Greek. So glad that they have reopened.

Visited last Thursday evening during a short stay at the lovely Port Hotel nearby, it was a delight. The team very friendly and the food was superb Greek family made recipes to savour. We will definitely return.

A really wonderful and authentic Greek restaurant accompanied by friendly, helpful service. We have eaten in Greece over many years and this is really very good. Thanks for a lovely meal and evening. Book this - you will not be disappointed.
