Well what a terrific little find this was. After casually wondering past i noticed some of the food on the tables of some of the diners. I was looking for somewhere to stop and have a bite to eat whilst down in Eastbourne on business. I decided id give it a go.
Wow...i ordered a glass of house red, a small Meze starter which was served promptly, was clearly home made and as fresh as it comes. I ordered the Stifado for a main. Absolutely with out a doubt the nicest and most perfectly balanced in flavour Stifado I’ve ever eaten. 9.9...although I’m unsure if it could have been any better if I’m honest.
The service was polite and friendly and exceptionally efficient. The ambience was chilled and family friendly with lots of different mixed tables of families, couples and tourists in small parties. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals and i cant find a bad thing to say about the place. Can highly recommend to anyone thinking of trying this little gem of a restaurant out...do it!

Visited for the third time this weekend.
The food is very, very good. However, what makes a real difference is that the waiting staff are very polite, good at their jobs and they smile.

We go down to Eastbourne as often we can (we live in South London) and when we do we always try and eat at this restaurant. The food is always fantastically fresh and tasty, it's great value for money, the service is excellent and all the people that work there and the owner are always so friendly & welcoming. We've been coming here for several years now and the quality of the food has never waivered even when they are busy. Although Eastbourne has lots of good restaurants, in my opinion this is the best one by far.

If you like Greek food then this is the place. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, and sensibly priced. If your unsure what to order they do a great mezze with a bit of everything.

IMO this is the best restaurant in Eastbourne - the food is always excellent, the owner and waiting staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I live in South London yet regularly travel to Eastbourne and I try to eat here as often as possible - it never disappoints. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

I have lived and worked in Greece so know the food very well.my friend and I had the the meze which started off very well, the only disappointment was having the sausage in Tom sauce and the meatball in Tom sauce, instead it would of been nice to have calamari and giant butter beans it was just too much meat. I would definitely recommend it

Without doubt my favourite restaurant in Eastbourne. Been here many times and always have the Meze simply because it is excellent. We usually go as a large family with an age range from 2 to 80 and everyone loves it . It is always busy and that is a sign of a good restaurant- so be sure to book

We stopped by for a late lunch and ordered a wrap each. The food was tasty and we had a quiet calm view over the street. The service was good too, would recommend.

I do love calamari but finding a restaurant that does this well has been a challenge. I had lunch with a member of thebestof Eastbourne as per their recommendation and I was delighted with the lunch! Perfect setting for a lunch/business meeting. I will certainly pay them another visit.

This is by far the best restaurant In Eastbourne. It’s clean and a lovely atmosphere. It’s reasonably priced and the staff are all friendly. The food is 1st class and I have been many times and I have always left happy. It is consistent when many other restaurants are not. I really look forward to visiting and they deserve some recognition for their hard work.

Based on a lunchtime visit we cannot wait to come back. Greek salads with tip top quality ingredients, when a dish is simple the ingredients have to be good for it to be anything (yummy olive oil, feta and nice olives) followed by a veggie moussakavwhich packed a satisfying and moreish punch (very rare to find real depth of flavour in a veggie dish that is prepared in a omnivorous establishment - compliments) and a tantalisingly good pork souvflaki. We cannot wait to return. Really reasonable prices too. Oh and the service needless to say, was friendly and fab!

We have now visited Gr eat twice, one a really large party on a Saturday night and a small party at lunchtime, we have already booked a third visit, it is our restaurant of choice and we eat out quite a bit.
The food is fantastic, full of flavour, homemade, authentic well presented and lots of it. Service is equally as good with warm, friendly and crucially happy staff, cannot fault this place at all, so unusual to find a place that gets everything right, it is truly Great.

My gf and I turned up at 630 on a Saturday night with no reservation, and I told them we'd be in and out in a hour (the next reservation was for 730) if they could serve us that fast. The lady was friendly, accomodating, and professional. She quickly seated us, and we got the meze platter; an incredible deal at £20 each. The entire meal was excellent and VERY generous. We both came in hungry, and left uncomfortably full. My only regret is not being able to tip them as we had no cash and gratuity paid by card wasn't an option.
If I ever come back to Eastbourne, I will most definitely eat here again. Thanks guys!

I was a little sceptical of all the great reviews, but several friends had recommended so we decided to give it a try.
The little restaurant is amazing, great food, and faultless service. I really cant recommend it highly enough.
We ordered a selection of Meze and salads which were very large and excellent value. The houmous is outstanding.Cant wait to go back again.

When I looked up this superb Greek restaurant on trip advisor and saw 5 out of 5 after 600 reviews I thought, wow, this must be something special and trust me it is.
The service is just faultless, the food is just outstanding as is the beer and wine. Then you add in very reasonable prices and this restaurant is just amazing, can’t rate it high enough. Thank you all for an outstanding meal, I just wish I lived closer.
