EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY! Lots for kids to do, lots of space to run. Food is so well priced and affordable (not a rip off) and the pizza is delicious.

Not 5 stars cos the cows and horses could've done with hay in their enclosures, and the grass was so short they couldn't get to it. The duck pond water was dirty and would be nice if they had tall grass and filtered water and an area for them to waddle. Apart from this, animals are loved and well looked after. It was lovely to see such care!!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Coming from Derbyshire to visit our grandsons in Brighton we always try and have a day at this wonderful attraction. Having grandchildren from 18 years down to 5 years we have visited many attractions in various parts of the country this being the best value day out. Knockhatch continue to add attractions the latest being the indoor jungle/dinosaur barn full of high slides and rooftop rope walkways, we spent many hours in here today ( 20th December)with our youngest grandson. THANK YOU TO THE MALE ATTENDANTS WHO WERE SUPERVISING THE SLIDES TODAY YOUR PATIENCE AND KINDNESS WAS MUCH APPRECIATED. Santa's grotto and subsequent present was well worth the additional £5. All staff are polite and friendly it's a pleasurable day out for all ages

We went to Knockhatch today, the weather was horrendous but we had a fabulous time. Not everything was open, for obvious reasons but the staff were super helpful, the elf show was very funny and the indoor soft play was a nice warm welcome. The highlight was seeing Santa. He was brilliant, appeared very interested and attentive. We have seen Santa many times and can honestly say, due to his interest and personality, this was up there with the best....thank you. For only £5 the presents were pretty decent too. He also involved the whole family with his conversations and made sure we got the all important photo. The welcome elves were lovely too. Lovely day had by all. MERRY CHRISTMAS

I got a Meerkat Experience pass for two back in March for my birthday and went today with a like minded animal lover friend. Great little place with friendly and caring staff for the wonderful and sweet animals here.Ben could not have done more for us in our experience with the cheeky adorable little Meerkats and was very informative about all the residents in the park There is a genuine love for these animals here and they are very well cared for. The wallabies can be fed from your hand with cheap food they sell at a very low cost, which is also good for the birds and rabbits So sweet and endearing, highly recommended for a visit

I had the most amazing day at Knockhatch.
Firstly I did a Meerkat experience with Ben who was so friendly and informative,it was so lovely to see how much he loved them.I had the best time, thank you!!!!!!
Through out the day I spoke to other members of staff who were all so polite and friendly.
I also did the animal handling which I thoroughly enjoyed especially holding two different snakes.
I walked round looking all the different animals, who were all so well cared for,and such a lovely variety.
I then had some lunch which was delicious.
If you like dinosaurs then Lost World is amazing, took my breath away how well it's been done.
I then went to the inside owl demonstration which was also amazing and very informative.Loved Ben and Mark, brilliant team together!!!!.
Many thanks to you all for a super day,not to be forgotten.
Will be back with Grandaughters.

Received a Meerkat experience as a gift, so took a friend along with me. It was a damp dull day which probably did not help our overall impression. Firstly the Meerkat experience, it was really great, Ben the keeper was brilliant, he was very informative about the meerkats and very enthusiastic - he clearly loved them and animals in general, he really made it special and a great experience. The meerkats were such fun and sat on us (from feet to head!), ate out of our hands and were just so friendly. It made out day. Now for the place in general, whilst i think the place is probably great fun for the kids especially in the summer, there is not much there for adults. Food was very limited (not even a good choice of lovely cakes!) I really think they miss an opportunity on the food front, what we had was okish but could have been a lot better. Also it was served on paper plates with wooden knives and forks - which whilst better than plastic, still not very environmentally friendly. They have some lovely animals that children will love but my friend and I were very concerned about some of the small enclosures which seemed to offer little space, little for them to do and not much shelter to relax away if they wished. I do think for kids it could be a great place and has a lot more potential but I think it needs to be improved and have some money spent on it especially in the interests of the animals.

We visited with children aged 5 and 9. They both really enjoyed everything that was on offer to do. We went during the school holidays and as our area had different holiday dates to the local children there were few people/children there and so the children had the run of the place with no queues.

Although the water area was closed this was understandable as it is Autumn. However this did not distract from the enjoyment. The children loved being almost alone with the animals and spent ages with the Wallabies.

The indoor areas for play are varied and caters for all ages.

We took our own picnic and ate inside which was warm and cosy. The Park does sell food and drink at reasonable prices.

The price of entrance was excellent and we would certainly take the children back there again in the summer when the water features are open.

We arrived at 10.15am and left at 4pm and still didn't manage to go everywhere and do everything.

As I said we were spoilt as there were not many people around due to the difference in the school holidays. We know others who have been at peak time and although there are lots of people around it doesn't feel crowded.

My boyfriend and I visited the park today instead of going to nearby competing zoos/parks because we were looking for a nice day out close to home. I have been to knockhatch many times, a large percentage of these times as a child (I am now 20 so it’s changed rather a lot since the 2000s) and knew that knockhatch had lots of animal enclosures, which is something both of us are interested in. We arrived at the park at 13:00 and being a Friday during term time it was as quiet as expected which only enhanced the experience in my opinion. It was an orange day I believe which meant not all the attractions were open which did initially concern me as I realised there may not be much left to do for people of our age (the boating lake was closed as was the water attraction). However, the price was remarkable (£7.99 per person) and I knew we would still be seeing the animals which is what the main goal was for us. I haven’t visited the park since 2015 and I have to say I have seen a vast improvement in it since then. It is full of interesting things to see and do, with the dinosaur themed slide barn which is clearly amazing for everyone of all ages and the other attractions that are dotted around the park. We loved the fact that nothing seemed to be completely restricted just to kids (that we wanted to do of course) and we managed to spend a good 4/5 hours there. We also went into the animal encounters barn where we held a snake and viewed some other animals, there was a man in there who was very animated and knew an awful lot about the animals which was interesting even for people of our age and not simplified for children. We then went to see the wallabies which we loved. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring young members of the family and even older relatives to the park as I think there is something for everyone. With the exception of the man in the animal encounters however there wasn’t a massive staff presence and no one seemed to be enjoying themselves much. I don’t know if this is due to staff members being quite young and shy but it would have been nice to have felt a bit more welcomed by friendly staff members and to feel some camaraderie between them. Besides this worth every penny and looking forward to another visit hopefully next summer!

An entry for Grandparents (reduced entry) and a family of 2 (my daughter and 4 year old grandson). Paid the day before online for a discount. Half term holiday. Having been directed to the overspill car park we anticipated a crowd. We were pleasantly surprised. No long queues. Many of the attractions were included in the entry. This included a Halloween experience which although not appropriate for a 4 year old would have made the visit even more of a bargain. So much to do and see. We played spot the ghost to ‘win’ a lolly and a discount in the shop. The gift shop was reasonably priced. Food was well priced. Staff were friendly. value for money.

Had a amazing day out with a 9 and 10 year old. We got there just after 10am and didn't leave until it closed. So much for them to do new play barn is brilliant as well as froggies crazy golf and much more. The food in froggies was good hot and very reasonable. Knockhatch as come a long way in the last few years all to the good

Had an amazing experience here. Had a Meerkat experience bought as a gift and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff (Tim) very friendly and attentive. Loved the rest of the park, however, the giant rabbit looks like it needs some TLC and a good brush, which could also help lift its mood due to the fact that it doesn’t have a companion. Grooming is an important part of a rabbits regime and it’s important to replicate that when they’re on their own which is what I’ve learnt from caring for my own rabbit.

This is a brilliant adventure park where you can spend all day with young children, plenty of different things to keep them entertained. There are plenty of eating places but also many picnic areas.
Enjoy your time here.

Last time I went here my children were about 4/5 years old and thought for the money there wasn't much but now my children are 12 and 13 years old and eventhough they had visited through the years for birthday parties ect I hadn't and it was unrecognizable.
Loads to do with a assortment of animals and special shows like an owl flying display and talks on the Animals. Great adventure/playparks to play in, a very large rowing boat lake, indoor play areas with many slides including drop slides. Outdoor water slides that you go down dressed. A splash pool area for the summer, crazy golf the lists goes on. Plus the food on offer here is all reasonably priced and so is the gift shop. My girls enjoyed it but my thirteen year old found it all abit too young and the market I would say is 4 to 12year olds. Great day out, neat and tidy place . Great value for money

We visited today with our 13 month old and wow what a treat. She loved being close to all the animals, especially the wallabies who she copied bouncing around, and very nearly got a kiss from an alpaca! There’s so much to do here even for children that young, providing they are walking and a fairly confident toddler. Today was her first time in a soft play too, the soft play at froggies is very clean and tidy and not at all busy so you haven’t got to worry about the little ones getting roughed about by the bigger children, well that’s on a weekday atleast. The food is very reasonably priced, we got three hot meals and drinks each for less than £15. Any rides that have an additional fee are very minimal too. All in all this is a very good day out for children of all ages with a great variety of activities.

We pre booked the tickets so we jumped all the ques & entered

The park has found that great balance between the animal attractions
& the activities . There is an owl section , farm animals & even wallaby's
that you can feed ( with cups of oats ? purchased from the reception )

You can also purchase activity tickets for thing such as bungee trampolining
, wall climbing , go carts for the younger children which they ride , water
sides etc etc etc

There is also a " dinosaur building " that is free & has loads of slides & rope
walks

A great place in short for the under 10's cheap to enter & that 7 year old we
had with us loved the place
