Great place for children probably up to age 12.
13 is too old for the got arts and they would definitely be more popular if the age for driving was lower.

Well kept park which is spot on targeted for toddlers to pre teen. Not completely a rides park but has a few, complemented with a comprehensive range of animals, soft play, mini water park, adventure playground, row boats etc..

Lots of cleaning staff and catering prices very reasonable, as are entrance fee.

Can't really fault the place. I suppose toilets could do with more regular cleaning, but name.a place that doesn't.

Recommended.

Visited here recently to celebrate my sons 6th birthday. Had never heard of the place before booking the tickets so was interested to see what was on offer.
When we arrived, there was ample parking available and staff on the entrance building were helpful and efficient in retrieving our online booking.
Once in the park, there is plenty for the kids to do and much of what's on offer is included in the entry price. I've been to similar places where they charge for use of individual rides and the costs rapidly mount up. This is not the case at knock hatch and just paying for entry offers you more than enough to keep little ones entertained for many hours.
The park does seem has numerous rides for kids from toddlers right up to I'd say round the age of 12 - 13. They're us also a petting zoo, talks on the birds of prey they have there and loads of dinosaur themed stuff (simulators, soft plays and drop slides)
Catering facilities are also pretty decent and the family was very happy with the quality of the food we had for lunch.
The big wooden castle is a must also, I've seen similar thing before in play parks but this was on a much grander scale and the kids were happy playing in there for well over an hour until we moved on to the next event.
Overall, a really good day out for families with young children. The owners have clearly spent some money building this place and I hope they are seeing a return for their efforts. Lots to do and well maintained equipment makes for a fun and busy day. Hats off also to the staff also who were friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
Will be back here again before the kids go back to school

Good value for money for a family day out. There's a few different animals to see, a few different rides and slides to go on and plenty of decent play areas. Food and drink is reasonably priced aswell.

Fantastic day out for the family, so much to see and do, from looking at all the animals, playing in the adventure play grounds, playing in the soft play, taking a row boat out on the lake, going on the go karts, going on the rides or cooling off in the pirate cove pool.

Pros
Great value for money

Cons
Need more staff in the food and drink kiosks ( most only had 1 member of staff so long queues)

Amazing my 3 children had the best time they really enjoyed there selfs it’s quite cheap for everything that’s there and it’s a good day out! It wasn’t to busy either witch was good the only down full. I think the staff who are on the rides should crack a smile the lady on the swings didn’t even smile the whole time my child was on the ride. And the cheesy chips wasn’t melted it was just grated on top witch isn’t what you’d expect and the coke from there was always warm no ice but they was the only down fall loved everything else!

Something for all ages and can easily spend a whole day here. Not too over crowded and all staff are friendly and great with children. Good value for money especially as all rides/attractions are included in price. We took a picnic but food is reasonably priced too. We really enjoy coming here.

Great day out for the kids. Variety of rides, playgrounds for all ages and animals to see. Take towel and costume for the smaller children to enjoy the splash park. Annual pass is great value as you can pop in for an hour after school or stay for the day.

Where to start ….

Well me and my family consisting of a 6yr old 1.2m and a 2 yr old had an absolute blast !!!

From walking around and checking out all the animals, with little effort as the park is labelled so well, all the way through to modern well maintained soft play areas that can cater to mental adrenaline junkie kids, to chilled babies which is exactly my two boys in a nutshell. Honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about the park !!! Just hope they don’t go back to letting a limitless amounts of people attend and over crowed everything.

After waiting a year (due to covid) I got to have my Meerkat experience here. It was worth the wait. A timed slot with a great keeper and three inquisitive meerkats (while you have food). You sit in with these lovely creatures and while their keeper tells you all about them they climb over you to get some of the food the keeper has provided. You have nothing to worry about as they happily take the food from your hand, thankfully identifying the difference between food and your hand! You can have gloves if you don't like the idea of holding chicken feet and mealworms in your palm. To be able to get so close was a privilege and I enjoyed every moment. My day was further enhanced by having the rest of the day to see what else Knockhatch has to offer. There is an unusual array of animals and birds, including farm animals, wallabies, kookaburras, peacocks, ducks, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and owls. The owls are flown in a display twice a day and you can get a photo with one at the end. A lasting memory of the day will be being buzzed by an Eagle Owl as it flew over my head to it's handler!
Of course, this is a family oriented attraction and children will love Knockhatch for all the activities like the bouncy pillows, rides and water shoot. The catering on site is reasonably priced if you don't want to take a picnic. A true family day out that actually can fill a whole day. Personally, I will be back for the owl experience as I want to even closer than being buzzed!
