This still is possibly the best restaurant in Eastbourne. Amazing service great welcome excellent menu range really good wine list and prices that are not over the top.
I have been going to this restaurant ever since in opened in early year of 2000 , sadly I am unable to go as often now as I used too so an opportunity to go there for Sunday lunch was relished in all ways
They deserve every success it's nice just to know this isa place ou can rely on and recommend people too ....well done to the whole team that make it work so well

We were a party of 10. There was a problem with the reservation when we got there but the staff and the manager could not have done more to try and rectify it and it was very quickly sorted.
The food was sensational , the service impeccable. All the staff were extremely and genuinely friendly and there were thoughtful little extras offered to us during our meal. Ten people ranging from 9 years up to 80 left very happy and I look forward to when I can go to La Locanda Del Duca again!

Went for dinner with a group of friends. The meals were excellent and very well presented. They have a good wine list and we can recommend the Gavi de Gavi. Service was attentive without being obsessive and well appreciated. The only slight downside was the volume of the music. They had a cabaret musician who was very good but a little loud. In fairness we were told when booking that the musician was on. We will definitely go again but perhaps dine a little earlier so we finish eating before the set starts.
Top tip: try the "top end" of the wine list as the selection is very good.

Delicious. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and tasty food. We shared the goats cheese to start - it was so nice of them to spilt it onto two plates for us without us asking! He had the steak (slightly overcooked, he enjoyed it nonetheless). Side veggies were lovely, only the potatoes were overboiled - everything else great. I had the grilled monkfish - yummy. Shared the chocolate fudge dessert with homemade ice cream... perfect! Enjoyed every bit of our meal. Nice touch for the owner/manager to come out and ask how we were too.

First time visiting here - don’t know why but oh my goodness, it was what I’ve been looking for over the past 10 years - a PROPER Italian restaurant! Decor, ambience, staff, food - all absolutely perfect. Whilst we were in there, an elderly gentleman collapsed and the staff couldn’t have been more compassionate in their dealing with it, reviving him, laying him down and getting ambulance. Absolute stars. Deffo be eating here again!

We had a great meal here with as I’ve said, great customer service from the staff who treated us so well during our visit.
The good was cooked to perfection and the menu choices were just right.

This family run restaurant never fails to impress. We were a party of 14, all wanting individual bills and ordering different things. The service was friendly, prompt and efficient and the food as amazing as always. They cater for my no salt diet without batting an eyelid, as everything is cooked fresh and this is a sign of an outstanding restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and coming back to this favourite restaurant is always like coming home. We are very fortunate in Eastbourne that this and Pomodoro E Mozzarella are located here, as they never disappoint.

First time to Eastbourne and I guess we got it right first time! An excellent menu and superb meal served with a smile. The staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Barbara, we will be back again tomorrow.

Went for an early Dinner. Just had starter and Main courses, which were excellent. Menu was varied with plenty of choices. Both food and wine were good value for money. Have been several times before and delighted to say standards are still as high as our previous visits.

If you are looking for authentic Italian food in Eastbourne the place is here. During my stay in Eastbourne I visit this restaurant and the food was amazing. Everything cooked properly from the starters till the deserts. Great food experience. Staff very friendly and very efficient. Definitely I will visit again. Cheers to all staff
