Extremely supportive class that I was able to attend with my newborn and then sent my partner a few weeks later as felt essential, need to know information, advice. I then used mini first-aid for my first-aid at work that needed updating -most enjoyable class in over 20 years of keeping certification updated. Jen is clear, precise and funny.

I attended a class with Mini First Aid Sussex recently and was really touched at the personable nature of the class and trainer.
The content was really indepth and interesting! The trainer had alot of reseources and was able to show photographs of injuries to help us gain an understanding regarding the level of first aid required in certain circumstances.
The combination of theory and practical was also really well balanced.
Someone in our group had recently had a terrible experience and was given the opportunity to share the details with the group. This personal touch helped to really bring the class, and what we were learning to life. Understanding how and when we might need to use the skills that we were learning. It helped our group bond and I really think we all got so much out of it!
The mannequins were very lifelike which was really helpful when practicing the echniques and the trainer came around to make sure that our positioning, strength and timing was correct, which I thought was great.
I purchased a first aid bundle which has everything I might need for any situation that we discussed, I feel extra prepared should I ever need to use what I learnt! (Hopefully not).

We booked Jen to deliver the Mini First aid to 15 young people with English as an additional language, Jen was amazing with the young people took her time explaining each of the procedures and made the session very interactive and enjoyable, the young peoples feedback was how much they enjoyed the session and all the new things they had learnt from Jen. They were given the opportunity to practice chest compressions putting a casualty in the recovery position. Burns, bleeds and broken bones as well as different medications and choking.
Would highly recommend Jen and Mini First aid if your looking for a fun and interactive way of learning first aid.

The best first aid class ever taken. We feel so much better now about being armed with the knowledge to keep our new baby safe. The class was thorough and the instructor patient and extremely knowledgeable. We will be back soon for a refresher course!

As first time parents we wanted to make sure we were as prepared as possible should our baby have an accident or illness leading to her needing first aid. We contacted Jen who was extreemly helpful and discussed course options with us . We decided to go for the private at home class with a few friends. Jen was very flexible and understanding with booking. The course was great with lots of really useful information told in a friendly and easy to understand way. Ourselves and our friends now feel much more confident in first aid and knowing what to do if the need for this comes so thank you. This could potentially have been literally life saving! We are now also considering doing the baby proofing session too.

I recently attended the Baby Proofing course and oh my goodness it was incredible. I can't believe the wealth of information I learnt and how many things I was missing around my own home and whilst out and about.
Jen is so knowledgeable whilst also being so warm and welcoming,it was easy to listen to her and she makes the classes very engaging.

This first aid course covered some really useful topics and being a first time mum and dad, it was good to get some knowledge of first aid we may need to use as a parent. I would recommend any parent going on the course!

I'm currently pregnant and as most first time parents - feeling a bit anxious and overwhelmed at the thought of looking after a new little life. I booked in for the mini first aid parent/carer 2-hour session and learnt so much. I feel so reassured having the knowledge I've been taught and for anything that may be forgotten, we were able to take away a very helpful mini guide which has gone straight with our first aid kit. Thank you so much to our mini first aid trainer!

My husband & I attended the Baby & Child First aid Course with Jen in January. We couldn’t recommend it enough for all parents/grandparents or caregivers. We both came away feeling much more confident. Jen put us all at ease which made us feel comfortable to interact and get involved in the practical side. I have booked Jen twice to deliver mini workshops to the young people who attended our wellbeing groups. The young people really enjoyed it and felt more confident in delivering basic first aid skills. We had such positive feedback from parents too, who said it was such a great thing for young people to learn.

Jen is an expert trainer who really knows her stuff. she explains everything very clearly and does not mind re-caping on something to ensure you have the right information. I have completed first aid course annually and this one is the one I really remember for all the right reasons.
