This is a proper family restaurant serving authentic Italian food, from Pizza, pasta and mussel and saltimbocca and.......
Place was buzzing with dinners having a good time. Modern decor and furnishings, clean and well lit so you could see what you are eating.
Stag friendly and attentive.
Wish I lived closer so could go more often.

Last minute booking on a Friday night and they gave us a table for 4 despite the place being pretty well full. Great service, food and atmosphere.

We had a great meal at this restaurant. I had Funghi Trifolati as a starter which was a dish of mushrooms cooked with extra virgin olive oil garlic and parsley. My main meal was Lasagne Al Forno followed by a delicious desert of profiteroles filled with ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce. All the dishes that I had were tasty and flavoursome and the service was quick and efficient with friendly waiters. This is a great place to go for a meal, as it’s a bit away from the main areas where the crowds are, so is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle. Also we were able to get the special meal deal of 3 courses for £13:30 which was really good value. But this is only available at certain times

This Italian restaurant has an extensive menu for food and offers a good range of wines.
The set menu offers a wider range of options than most restaurants and gives excellent value.
The food is delicious and the service is very friendly, courteous and efficient.
This was the first time that myself and colleagues had been to this restaurant and we will go back

This restaurant never disappoints and on our latest visit, the food was as good as ever and the staff & service fantastic. A must visit when in Eastbourne.

Our girls evenings out often gravitate to Pomodoro. It’s always been fun and friendly and the food is consistently good.

This place seems very popular. It was recommended and so we went on a very wet Sunday night. I was quite busy. The pizzas being served looked amazing but we opted for the Calamari starter and the Courgette starter. Both were good. The mains were a good size (we had the pollo san giorgio and the tagliatelle mare e monti) and very tasty. The staff were great and the place has a nice vibe. The menu is large so there is something for everyone.

We have been here a few times as it is such good value and they do veal in tomato and black olive sauce that us SO tender. I decided not to have my usual pannacogta today and tried the cassata instead. Oh wow the pistachio ice cream section was exceptional and full of maraschino cherries. Will have it again. Service with a smile as well

This restaurant and its neighbour La Locanda Del Duca are by far the best restaurants in Eastbourne.

Excellent service, friendly staff and fair prices.

Good service, good food. Recently had a meal with family and friends for my wife’s 50th birthday, 28 people in total and the service was great and the food was good.

Visited during the Airshow weekend. I had whitebait to start and seabass as a main. Both were ok, but not amazing.

When we are at the theatre in Eastbourne we often dine here before the show because it's always busy but big enough to serve plenty of people in good time. Once again we could reserve and enjoy their usual standard of service and food from an extensive menu in very pleasant surroundings so we'll certainly be back, probably when we next see a show.

My wife and I had dinner with two friends before going on to see a show, The ambience was good and the staff very friendly.
I started withe the Bruscheta then had the Pizza al Formaggio di Capra and my wife ordered the Pollo alla milanese.
Mine was excellent but my wife really didn't like hers - badly cooked and tasteless and the veg was hard.
It's a shame because it could have been excellent

I visited this restaurant on Tuesday 21st August and was greeted by the owner and shown to a table. The food and drink was wonderful and in fact they even made a couple of dishes that were not on the menu for us. The staff were very attentive and I could not fault anything. Would recommend this restaurant to anybody.

The food, the cheerful and efficient staff and the ambience made this a terrific experience - we ate here for three consecutive nights and there was plenty of choice for vegetarians.

Four of us visited on Friday evening. My second visit there. It was particularly busy being the weekend of the air show but this is normal apparently.
We had booked and were seated immediately. However it took a while for our order to be taken. A family arrived after us and say at the next table and had their order taken first.
It was very noisy and it seemed everyone had to shout to be heard so it wasn't at all relaxing. We each had a starter and main course plus wine. The food was fine. Nothing wrong with it But nothing remarkable.
However the bill came to just over £100 for the 4 of us so good value and nothing to complain about

We stopped in for dinner this past weekend during Airborne week in Eastbourne. This is the busiest week of the year for the local restaurants, and Pomodoro Mozzarella did not disappoint. We walked in without a reservation (not recommended, btw) and got a table for two with a great waiter. We ordered a spicy sausage pizza as an appetizer and it was incredible! We each ordered pasta dishes off of the main menu after that and really enjoyed them. This place doesn't have an extensive wine list but the italian wines we had were fine. If you find yourself in the center of Eastbourne hungry for Italian food, this is definitely the place.

Walked in with no booking on a Saturday night and I presume it was the owner that found us a table. Really nice guy and he seemed to try his best to get others a table that walked in without a booking even though the restaurant was really busy. The food was delicious, my eldest is very picky but he loved his pizza and ate it all.
The bill came to just over £50 which was a bargain considering that included drinks, 2 pizzas and 2 main courses.
Would highly recommend if in Eastbourne.

Myself and my Mrs absolutely love this place, and have been here quite a few times and it never let’s you down. Why has it taken me this long to leave a review? Well for me it’s about consistency which matters more than that good day bad day cobblers. I’m from North London which is recognised as being heaven for any Italian food lover due to the high concentration of Italian people.......so let me tell you this place would wipe the floor with them as it is that good and better.
It’s a very slick operation from front of house to the waiters and waitresses, and the staff are the same people every time which tells me they like working there and like any Italian business it’s one big happy family.
Trust me when I say Eastbourne has nooooo idea(I think) how lucky they are as this food is just like “Mamma used to make”
Great atmosphere as well as I’ve never ever seen it empty.
Go as a group and you will have a great time......don’t worry my Mrs is not offended by that as a good Italian dinner is more of a social event than just a simple meal for two.
Do end it with a limoncello or two as well.
Grazie
