Fantastic menu, staff, food n ambience. Traditional Italian trattoria catering for family dynamic or Coeliac and vegan so was a a treat to not have to compromise on choice, taste and flavour! Would be back in a flash !

Surprisingly busy, and for me, the tables were a little too close together, although they were covid safe, as there was a transparent screen between tables.

We visited here on Tuesday. The food was lovely with very generous portions, very covid safe with partitions up. Excellent value and 20% off Monday-Thursday. The only slight niggle was they charged £3.40 for three small pieces of garlic bread, but other than that everything was perfect.

The layout has been set out with plastic dividing screens between all tables to adhere to social distancing and lots of cleaning going on. The servers all wear face masks or shields and gloves. There’s also a one way system in place. Taking the prevention measures seriously.
Back to the meal itself prompt and attentive service by the staff a good selection on the menu and variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks including mock tails and cock tails.
The meals we had were flavoursome and just a nice manageable portion apart from the desert which was huge! Great value too. Probably one of the best Italian meals I’ve eaten outside Italy.
The atmosphere was buzzing and busy which added to the ambiance.
Worth checking out or it’s sister restaurant next door. Street parking available close by and is accessible for those less mobile.

I have eaten here twice in the last couple of weeks and both times had lovely food and great service. The first time was a family birthday and they made a nice occasion allowing us to bring a cake and everyone singing. I had the special menu as it was a weekday. Bruschetta and Sea bass it was delicious. Second time I had the aubergine tomato dish from the starter menu as a main and a lovely rocket salad in a little bowl made of strips of a cucumber. Really charming! Good service with screens in between tables. Very good value.

Excellent take away delivery service. Our food was delivered quickly after ordering, allowing for the distance. We all enjoyed our meal and would use this service again. Such a pity we are unable to visit the restaurant at the moment.

A really lovely family business good food good prices and Luca and his staff are very kind and helpful I have been back several times and enjoy the food and the friendship from the Italisn owned family restaurant . Give a go the food is excellatie and the atmosphere is homely . Just over £12 to £15 pounds for a 2 course meal cant be bad

An oasis. Great Italian food in a seaside town. Couldn't fault it well worth a visit. A vast menu and the set lunch at £11 was a very wise choice. Will definitely come again when we are in Eastbourne.

We stayed in the Premier Inn just outside the town center and not wanting to eat at The Mill adjoining the hotel, as it looked like a doss house and had food similar to a 1970's works canteen, we searched for a restaurant in Eastbourne. What a great find. Fantastic food, excellent service, Covid 19 regulations carried out to perfection. Well done & thanks for a very enjoyable evening meal.

Delicious food. Reasonably priced set menu. The staff were friendly and professional and the covid screens were in place between tables. Felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed our 2 course meals. Would return, highly recommend.

After a relaxing night away we met up with our local friends and booked a table for the four of us. We had a delicious lunch. I can recommend Insalata Nizzarda which was tasty and beautifully presented. The Scallopina alla Millanese was well cooked tasty and generous in size. Our pasta was al dente and filling. All our desserts were typically Italian. I can highly recommend the Tiramisu and fruit salad or maybe the Creme Caramel. We were all very pleased to see that Covid19 precautions were in place with screens between tables. All waiters wore masks. This made us feel very comfortable.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for 20 years and never had a problem but on the 31 of August I went with my family to eat there. Everything was going smoothly until the puddings and coffees. The waiter poured all the milk over the back of my husband. He apologize but no one came to help him to clean out. But that was not the end. After the incident the manager came to tell us, in a very rude way, that we had to leave because the restaurant was closed and that we shouldn't complain about the incident because we had a GOOD SERVICE and a good discount (it was the last day of the "Eat out help out" offer). I was very upset and disappointed with the manners of this person who should be there to help customers. At the end of the day we are the customers and we pay for a good service. Next day I came back to talk with the owner and make an official complaint. He apologize for what had happened but he excused his employees saying that they were very tired because it was a long and busy weekend and that they had been working long hours. I totally understand that but that doesn't mean they have the right to treat customers that way. It not the customer's fault. I went there to get a good food and good service. I didn't get it. Is a shame because food is good. I'm not coming back again....

We had the best meal of our trip at this restaurant. We had the two course meal for £11.30 each.I had the gluten free spaghetti bolognaise and my husband had the spaghetti milanaise. Then we both had the creme caramel. Pleasant and efficient service and good atmosphere. Easy to park in the evening. Seems a very popular restaurant. Pretty full for a Wednesday evening.

Nice pasta and risotto enjoyed by all. 4-year-old loved his pasta a lot. Portion was huge. Waitress gave me a big handful of chocolates for the child when we were leaving!
