My first visit to Pomodoro e Mozzarella last night with 3 girlfriends.....A buzzy atmosphere, great food with an extensive menu to choose from.. I had the Medallions of Fillet Steak in a peppercorn and brandy sauce which was cooked to perfection. The presentation of the food was excellent.....Best to book as to secure a table... will definitely become a regular...

Arrived 15 minutes before closing was ask to order asap so kitchen staff could go home this weekend did the food and house wine was excellent the waiting staff were superb they waited for us to finish and was never rushed

We have just stayed in Eastbourne for two nights and both nights dined here. Each time we come to Eastbourne this is the restaurant we head for.
Good, well cooked and well presented food with a great choice. The staff are superb, really friendly and attentive without being in the way. The menu is reasonably priced. Always a lovely atmosphere as it is so busy, it's quite a large restaurant and they would probably fit you in but on a Tues and Wed we were glad we had booked.We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Had a lovely lunch here recently. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Nice wine ! We were on our way for a matinee at the theatre. Actually got a discount with our tickets. ! Will certainly visit again.

We haven't been here for years. Why oh why??? We went to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary last night, keeping it low key and unannounced. Service was spot on, neither too fussy nor too ignored, just perfect. Food was exactly what we ordered, no surprises or shocks. Could perhaps have done with four slices of garlic bread rather than three seeing as we were a couple sharing it with our starters, but hey, I'd probably have been over full by the end of my meal if I'd eaten another morsel. Main courses were lovely and flavoursome, desserts the same, nothing was unexpectedly negative. The bill was unexpectedly positive! Fifty six quid all in for a lovely meal in a lovely environment with attentive staff and superb chefs. We won't be leaving it so long before the next visit that's for sure.

We were very hungry after a long walk and came here for a meal. I thought it reasonably priced. The service was very good, all staff were really helpful. We had salads which were delicious and then I had Cassata as a treat. There is a good choice of dishes on the menu.

Great family run restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. We arrived late being let down by the pub at Beachy Head. The restaurant was very busy with many familis dining. The staff did fantastic job finding a table for us. We found staff very helpfull, with great sense of humor and very proffesional. Owner was in the restaurant personally lookin after the clients. Food was fantastic and I would personally recommend sirloin steak in pepper sauce. Great for family dining. Parking was free as it was Sunday. After dinner you can enjoy a walk alongbthe main promenade.

Made to feel very welcome and the food is great. Even managed to find something that my dad would eat. He likes traditional British food. I had a salad and there was so much if it and presented amazingly. Only disappointment was my dessert. Profiteroles. Not what I expected. Would not chose them again. Service was good and staff friendly.

Fantastic family friendly venue. Although we have visited many times as a couple it's always good to see such a friendly family atmosphere highly recommended on all levels.

Massive menu
Amazing food, had a really nice cheesy garlic bread with caramelised onions starter, brilliant main but can't remember what it was called. Was too full for a desert so had a lovely pina colada instead

We had a large group of 20 eat here last year. The food is very nice although not particularly adventurous - standard UK Italian restaurant fare.

Great service and excellent food. Extremely varied menu, freshly prepared and well presented. Obviously very popular as the restaurant filled up quickly but the eaiting staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble! Thoroughly enjoyable meal, thank you!

We have slightly fallen out of love with Pommie over the years but I think this is because we went so often we didn't realise how good the food is compared with other places. We have visited twice in the last couple of weeks and the food was excellent and really good value. The staff are very friendly and the service good. Would definitely recommend the lamb on mash - cooked to perfection.

Everyone is welcomed personally here. I have eaten here many times with a big family group, with my mum,as a couple and on my own, the service is always friendly and professional and the food is of an unerring good quality. You can usually park close by. Highly recommended.

Treated to a meal here by relatives living in Eastbourne, and it really was a treat! Exceptional service, fantastic quality and quantity. All for a very reasonable price. The seafood risotto was quite outstanding.

We were walking around Eastbourne looking at various restaurants and trying to decide which cuisine to go for, and as soon as we looked in here, this had to be our choice. It was buzzing. Whereas other restaurants were okay, the popularity of this restaurant was it's best advertisement. It had a vibrance that others lacked. The food was good, as was the service and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thoroughly recommended.

We've been here a number of times an never been disappointed. The owner is from Naples and seems to be ever present - waits at table with the rest of his team. No ais and graces simply good food well prepared and served.
