Outstanding Italian cuisine. Terrific value for money, especially the set two or three course menus. All dishes are delicious and the service is second to none. How refreshing to be served by such friendly staff who always have a smile on their faces however busy it is in the restaurant. Full marks and in my opinion the best Italian restaurant in Eastbourne. You won't find better! Oh, and their home made ice cream is simply the best!

Was recommended Pomodore e Mozzarella by the hotel I was staying at. It was a last minute decision and a really great choice. Fantastic staff, hospitality, massive amount of choice, high standard of food. Not overly priced, was pleased with the bill total. Would recommend and definitely go back there.

My Favourite restaurant best gf pasta ever - often have to check it is gf as it tastes sooo good. Reasonable cost, friendly staff, book as they get pretty busy!!

Great for a family meal or if you want a quick bite to eat. I feel if you want a more luxurious meal,good wine and a more relaxed atmosphere, pop to there sister resturant next door but both very good.

A good place to eat and very good value for money. A really nice atmosphere with all the staff being very attentive but not over powering. A very wide choice of options and all cooked fresh. We have visited this restaurant on numerous occasions and always been more than satisfied with the experience. Can get a little noisy and warm in the summer but if you book tables near the Windows you should be alright. I would certainly recommend the mussels and any of the pasta dishes. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Just got back from a meal at Pomodoro and it was superb as usual. Even on a busy valentines evening service was brilliant and the food was beautiful. All the staff are attentive, happy and helpful. Igor's service is especially good, he goes out of his way to make your evening very special- you rarely get service like this in the UK. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I have been here several times. Its a lovely restaurant well placed in town, near the shops and seafront. The staff are always really helpful, friendly and efficient. The food is always very tasty. Mid range priced. I would recommend if someone asked for an Italian restaurant in Eastbourne.

I've come to this restaurant many times with another friend and her family. We come back time and time again because they're so used to catering for big noisy groups, which is what you have when you have two x under 5s.
The food is cheap and cheerful in the best possible sense - without skimping on quality. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. And the final factor for coming is the special diet accommodation on their menu. This includes gluten free pizza and possibly pasta!
As far as Italian cuisine, it's a notch (or two) above the Italian budget venues in larger towns and cities including Brighton, and it's family owned. What more could you ask for?

We love this restaurant! Always great food & amazing service! We love the open kitchen. The waiting staff are always so friendly. We went for our sons birthday and the staff made such a fuss of him, which made the evening so lovely! The food is fresh and well cooked. There is a fantastic choice, whether you want pizza, pasta or something different. The desserts are fab too!

Going to the theatre in Eastbourne with party of 6, looked up unline a nearby restarant and found Pompdora e Mozerello, didnt know it but needed one near theatre as we didn't have much time. We were all seated and orders taken quickly, food was served quickly and every one of us enjoyed the food, prices were average for an italian. Good friendly atmosphere , will definately go again when in Eastbourne

Caused a little bit of confusion on entering because we hadn't booked, staff didn't seem to know what to do. Restaurant was very busy, but despite this we were shown to our table and given a menu very quickly. Our order was taken and drinks arrived in a timely manner. I chose fish for starter and main course with vegetables, nicely cooked and presented well. The only thing I could complain about, is that once we had finished it took ages to get the bill, didn't bother me, but my brother was in a bit of a rush to get away. Overall, very happy and will definitely use this restaurant again.

The atmosphere is always great here and it's so popular with couples, birthdays and large parties alike. The staff are always happy to assist with a cake or some decorations, not to mention a happy birthday song if requested!

Rollercoaster of a place. If you are 5 or 75 you will love coming here. It says Pizzeria Ristorante, they lied. The menu is enormous. Everything you ever of heard of Italian is available including cheeky waiters. Booking is advised. Visited in summer, long wait, booked in winter just as busy. Plates are not just served they are dressed. Amazing staff, service, smile, passion. Young couples with pizza and coke, retired couples ordering the menu from their honeymoon in Italy. At a suitable moment the owner came to ask if all was ok. If you want a little more relaxed atmosphere try their sister restaurant next door La Locanda Del Duca. That's my next visit.

I love Pomodoro restaurant. It is my first choice when it comes to restaurants in Eastbourne. The menu has a large selection and there is something for everyone. Food is delicious. I had here my birthday dinner in December. Restaurant was full with Christmas Parties, but still the staff made it all very special for me. I think every member of staff sang happy birthday to me. It was a great evening! Thank you.

Visited restaurant on recommendation from the hotel we were staying in. Saturday night in January and busy. Can imagine the need to book later in the tourist season.
We had veal which my partner loved and I had the bream with ginger, chilli and garlic. It was lovely and delicate.Partner had the ice cream profiteroles for her desert but actually wasn't that impressed as both of them were pretty solid. Perhaps they need a bit of defrosting before bringing to the table?
Service was good with lots of staff buzzing around. Would definitely go again if/when in Eastbourne.
