Went to see a production at RHT and again enjoyed being in a traditional theatre, with good knee room; always a warm welcome from the Front of House and staff on duty. This is a theatre for everybody.

Great start to the season. Warm & friendly atmosphere. Very good programme and varied from young children to older people 70 years plus taking part.

Those who didn't go to see Miracle on 34th Street missed a brilliant show. We took our two grandchildren aged 9 and 10, and they loved it. The family ticket was a bargain and the lovely ice cream tubs are only £2 each. We all had a great evening. We'll certainly keep an eye out for other shows.

We have just had a wonderful treat, Miracle on 34th Street, in an amazing theater. Such a beautiful building added to the magic, with snow at the end!!
Will see whats on next.

The service on arrival was fine. The theatre itself is beautiful but there was a slightly musty smell however it did not distract from an excellent performance. The cast and crew were superb. A fabulous show that was perhaps a little bit lost on the younger members of the audience.

Visiting the Hippodrome theatre is like taking a step back in time..It's a lovely little theatre which still retains a lot of origional features of the building..I've visited 2 shows in the last 7 days. Staff are all very friendly and helpfull and most of the shows are very reasonably priced.

Have been to see a few shows here this year. The staff and volunteers have always been so friendly and helpful. The prices of the shows are incredibly reasonable and the quality of the shows fantastic. I have to say that out of the theatres in the town this has to be my favourite.

Having lived in the area for 5 years and going to the Congress and Devonshire Park regularly, me and my wife only visited the Royal Hippodrome earlier this year for the first time. What a gem of a theatre. Very intimate and the shows that we have seen there, including the recent Rhydian one, were outstanding. The artists we have seen have all praised the theatre and the people who work there and say that it is the first time that they can actually see all of the audience and not just the first couple of rows. When watching the shows, you get more of a feeling of involvement, as the artists are so near. Would totally recommend this great theatre.

Rhydian was very very good as was his band and the very talented support singer Lucy Kay. The whole experience was enhanced by the very helpful and friendly staff.

What a wonderful evening, so different to other theatres, such a warm welcome, we had grand circle seats, and it was so personal, with our own bar, we had a drink before the show, all the ushers were making sure everyone was happy and had what we wanted, then after the show, staff gave us a warm goodnight, and it was just such a friendly old fashioned feel to the whole evening, Rhydian was brilliant, as was Lucy kay, we will be going back again for another show at some point, its well worth the visit, lovely evening.....thank you

Loved Rhydians concert, and also Lucy Kaye was great. I loved the small intimate nature of the Theatre, always my favorite type of venue. I've seen Rhydian in many events, and this was well up to standard, standing ovations. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, and it was lovely to have a few words with .Rhyd afterwards. Keep this lovely little theatre going

When he was singing, he was very good. However, there was much too much of the supporting acts.
He kept going off stage and we had girl singers that did as much singing as he did. The days of support
acts are gone, most of the very top stars do not have support.

My daughter and I found it to be poor value for money because of the few songs that Ryddian actually did.

Went to see Hooray for Hollywood at the Hippodrome last week whilst holidaying in Eastbourne

Excellent show, great cast, wonderful atmosphere and the young girl singing Alfie gave me goose bumps it was a perfect rendition and moving tribute to Cilla.

Highly recommend seeing this show and thank you to Alex, Grant and all the cast for all the laughs

Lovely little theatre full of atmosphere and character. A show that was hilarious for all ages, with an amazing cast of adults and children. Panto at its very best, we are all still laughing about it now. Can't wait to see another show by the Wicked team.

This theatre is the oldest in town, (there are 3 others) it puts on family entertainment and is run by volunteers and the local hoteliers well worth a visit if your holidaying in Eastbourne, they run a summer show on two nights a week plus lots of other shows in between

OK this theatre is showing its age, and is a little rough around the edges, but what an amazing theatre is inside that well worn facade. We have been several times this year and enjoyed the experience each time, the staff are passionate about the place which really helps, if you get a chance to go dont miss it.
