A cute harbour. Boat ride is not too long and is cheap. You get to see many nice houses and guide is very informative. The harbour has many nice restaurants and coffee shops and is walking distance to a shopping centre. Makes a nice afternoon out,

We've watched this location develop over the years. Bags of free parking, adjacent to a retail park, great choice of diverse restaurants, on the water - what more do you need?

Sitting out and eating, drinking or having a coffee especially sitting outside the restaurants and bars with the sun shining. You could be in the South of France!!! Visitors to Eastbourne often miss it. If you are on holiday take the little train from opposite the Pier. The last stop is a 5 minute walk to the Marina. You will not be disappointed!

Nice harbour and marina. We went there for a short walk (we used the Dotto train to go there... it's nicer and cheaper than a normal bus). As it was pouring when we arrived we seeked refuge in a nice pub where I had a delicius and refreshing tea. Once the rain stopped we went for a walk to the piers and after we had a small shopping in the various shops there.

While staying in Eastbourne we got on the little train to the harbour. We had a lovely walk round had coffee and cake at the Italia, then walked over to the retail park.
There is free parking if you come by car.

We actually lived on the Harbour and enjoyed it's facilities. The commercial area has some interesting shops, many varied food outlets and of course boats of most descriptions including a few fishing smacks. Trips by boat round the harbour are available. I would suggest that this is not an all day visit but It would be worth a stroll to the loch, always interesting, sometimes amusing.

We wanted to have lunch and ended up at Frankie and Bennys, the service and glass of wine were good, The Piza and Chips were awfull, hardly any toping on the frozen piza we had to put Ketchup on it was so dry and the frozen chips were also tastless.
First and last visit toFrankie and Bennys urgh!

Went with friends on a very hot, sunny day for lunch. Ended up staying for 4 hours! Had a drink in the Harvester, then went on to the Mediterranean restaurant for lunch. Plenty to do and see at the harbour, always something going on. How the other half live! Will definately return.

We are regular visitors to Eastbourne and we nearly always stop off at Sovereign Harbour en route.
It is pleasant to take a stroll around the Marina, where you can book reasonably priced boat trips and there are plenty of cafe's and restaurants to choose from.

Don't miss this if you are heading to Eastbourne. There are lots of nice places to eat or grab a drink with lovely views of the marina and boats cruising past. I like just going for a walk and seeing all the nice properties in the area.

We went to Eastbourne Marina and it is a very nice harbour with several bars and cafes with a nice outlook to the marina.
It is not the easiest to find ,if you follow the road signs it took us to the part where there is no parking.
When we were staying locally we went by bus and got off at the big Asda on the retail park and walked there.
Next time I would park in the retail shopping area

I and a good friend attend this postcard picture of a place regularly. To eat at the restaurants and to take pictures at night.

Nice place to visit for just a walk, or a meal out. Plenty of choice from family style Harvester to artisan eats at Seasons.

Unless you are planning on going for a walk around the marina to look at boats then have a bite to eat then there isn't much at the marina.

There is a small number of restaurants which are all OK but what you see is what you get.

There isn't any other activities to do there although the crumbles with a cinema and shops is close by.

It's nice to sit out and watch the boats on a sunny day though but I could imagine kids could get quite bored quite quickly there.
