This was my first visit to this restaurant. The starter and main course were full of flavour. Being ignorant of 'real' Thai food, I ordered 'Jasmine' rice expecting it to have a hint of jasmine. It was served as a solid lump and tasted of nothing. I complained and was informed that Jasmine rise is plain boiled rice. It's a shame its not described as such on the menu. They willingly changed it for a 'special rice'. The staff were friendly and obliging. I'd dine there again but would probably select the noodles and not the rice.

I went for lunch at Thai Brasserie today and was extremely impressed.
Had only been once before and it was a long time ago.Took my other half there as they had a set menu and I know the food is knock out.
Safe to say my other half wasn’t disappointed which I was pleased about as it was his first time there. We had the set menu - starter and main for £7.95. The starter isn’t really a starter it’s more of a small side - two dumplings or two pieces of squid.
The main is a reasonable size served with rice: Despite the small portions we thoroughly enjoyed the dishes. So much so, that we then looked at the main menu and shared a sizzling duck dish. AMAZING.
The staff were very attentive and helpful when we needed some guidance on what was spicy etc. Will be going back very soon!

We are regulars to the Thai brasserie and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and tasty food. As a family we have tried most items on the menu and would recommend the duck spring rolls and chicken satay to start and their massaman curry is really good! They also do a tapas menu which is perfect to try a few different dishes.

The best authentic Thai restaurant in a cosy, laid-back location. The restaurant is predominantly family run so the atmosphere is always great, not to mention delicious food and the best value for money. Excellent selection including veggie and vegan options so there really is something for everyone. A must.

I have come to the Thai Brass many a times (it is my grandmother’s favourite) and it never disappoints!
The family who run it are lovely, the food divine and the lunch menu is amazing value for money! Such effort is made every time we visit.
I would recommend it to all - family, friends, couples (it’s so beautifully decorated - feels nice and romantic).

We have heard about this place and read lots of good reviews so we decided to try it.
On arrival we were warmly greeted by our hosts and shown to our table. The restaurant is in the top floor of the Enterprise Centre next to the train station. if you are interested in trains you get some great views. The restaurant is attractively decorated and welcoming.
We ordered some drinks while we were thinking about our food. We all decided to have wine and had a bottle of the house red and the house white. We all agreed they were very quaffable and reasonably priced. We ordered a mixture of starters and let our waiter choose for us. Excellent choice, mixed and different, went down very well.
We all ordered something different for the main course and obviously tried each other's food.Everything was very good, there was nothing we did not like. The seasoning and spicing was just right. Nothing to hot and nothing to bland. Advice was on hand to explain the dishes and the strength of the curries.
All in all and a very good meal, pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. The good reviews are deserved.
