Been going here for 30+ years. I personally don't like going out shopping but get dragged around shopping centers nonetheless. I dislike this shopping center the least. Local, easy access, lots of shops, not too busy and clean.

A great shopping centre with free parking on Sundays and short walk to bus/train. Good selection of shops and places for coffee & a snack. Nowhere to get a good meal until the extension is built. The centre toilets are usually shocking although there is a changing places accessible one. Mostly one floor with ramps so great for people who have trouble with stairs. Car park machines only accept cash, although fairly well priced, make sure you have some change. Would be great if it had a late night shopping evening. Generally clean (apart from the toilets) and often busy. Less hassle than Brighton.

The Arndale centre has a good range of shops, but is currently under renovation and extension - shops are still accessible, but often through temporary gates and walkways.
