The Arndale Centre is having a large new extension being add to it. Suppose to be two floors, with shops and a large new cinema. Not before time.
This shopping Centre has been struggling for a while.
Does have parking up stairs, and this will be extended to.
It will start from directly opposite the Eastbourne Railway Station. Buses will stop out side to

Eastbourne Arndale Centre offers a wide range of undercover retail outlets. It us currently being modernised and extended, in order to increase retail options. There are bench seats placed throughout the central walkway to enable patient or tired shoppers to sit down. Something for everyone. If you are a visitor to Eastbourne, access is easy from Terminus Road on foot. Or via the road at the rear of the multi storey car park, for vehicle's.

Unfortunately, it is not the best time to visit the Arndale Centre at the moment because most of it is being renovated.
My favourite Sussex stationers is not open, although there are some other new shops that have appeared.

Although mostly mainstream shops in the centre there are a few independents worth a visit. The centre is clean and spacious - although why on a busy Saturday afternoon they had to bring a crane through the centre is beyond me.

So nice to find a shopping Mall where there are 99% of the shops open and busy - very few closed and desolate. Good variety, plenty of coffee stops - good day out with very affordable parking on site. Big big thanks to the girls in the eyebrow threading spot - great job you do ensuring us ladies are "facial hair free".

Plenty of variety in the shops there. Offering a range of different product for you. Often come across some bargains too!

There is very little here that isn't in every other shopping centre in the UK.

There is a Sainsburys - not giant! - and parking is free on Sundays.

One useful shop is Robert Dyas. There is a large Next and an Evans - but don't expect good quality as these shops don't do quality.

There is a good sandwich bar at the end where the buses stop, near to the horrible McDonalds. Reasonable prices for good quality sandwiches which they make to order.

The plus points, not overly large, all on one level, all the shops you'd expect, M&S, Boots, Primark, BHS, River Island, Pandora, so you can visit all your favourites quickly and easily. The loos don't bear comparison with Royal Victoria Place or Churchill Square however and the cafes are ok but nothing special. My tip would be, after your shopping, to venture out into Terminus Road for your refreshments where there is plenty of choice such as Cafe Nero, Patisserie Valerie, Bills to name just a few.

No different same old stores, same prices as elsewhere. Walked around it and had to leave as it got flooded from the torrential rain. No matter what town you go to its the same old shops.

All the usual shops are here, however Sainsburys is a little tucked away and hidden behind other shops. Shades coffee shop offers very good snacks and hot drinks. We found the service very good here. All the shops are on the ground floor too. It is always very clean and quite airy.

It has most of the shops you'd expect in a large town shopping district. Much the same as any other, really. Nothing special.

A level shopping centre with easy access, a wide variety of shops with a number of cafe with large open seating areas, I recomend Cafe Ruby, ideal for refreshments with plenty of choice.
