Even more shops have closed down since I last came here. There's not much to see.

Bright, Modern, bang upto date but maintaining what was the "Heart" of the Old Arndale Centre back in the day, plenty of choice for the discerning shopper and very busy and clean, We visited at different times ⏲️ on several days and it was always busy, conveniently located in the centre of town easily accessible by train 🚆 bus 🚌 and car 🚗!

Absolutely great place when it’s sunny. If the weather is not good don’t bother. Great views of the Seven Sisters and god walk up to beacon. My property so parking fees apply

It's OK, all the usual shops but gets an extra star for Flying Tiger, which always has something I never knew I needed, and at a reasonable price ..also Blue Mountain coffee shop for excellent coffee and delicious snacks.
The lavatories stink, though

Eastbourne have really pulled out all the stops to try and keep people visiting the town. The Beacon Centre is busy, unlike most town centres, there are shops there to attract people to the town. We hadn't been for quite a while because of Covid, but will now visit whenever we need a 'proper' shopping trip!

Have always enjoyed visiting the Beacon, wide variety of shops.
Disappointed to find that parking charges have gone up, with no notices showing what the charges are.
Free parking sundays is now £1.20 all day.
Daytime parking is now £1.20 an hour.
There appears to be issues with the lifts on a regular basis.
So if you have mobility issues ( struggle with stairs) be warned there may be a long wait.

has pretty much everything a shopping centre should, food, clothes, gadgets, groceries, joke stores, community spaces and a really cool cinema

Yes the beacon has changed with more shops closing down its a sham as a lot of money has been spent on the remodeling maybe they need to give small businesses a chance to build a business up
