Only one restaurant open at the moment, thats Nandos. Was really busy in the evening. Lots of shops not taken, a few teething problems with leaky roof. Buckets everywhere, even in some shops. Old part of the buildings fine.

Refurbishment creates a more modern, clean vibe and nice additional shops to create a interestingly diverse amount of shops which complements the visits here. It is certainly unfortunate that some well-known reastaurant chains and shops 'pulled out' or 'not planning to locate' in the Eastbourne beacon development however this multi-million pound extension has certainly improved not just the shopping centre, but the town and its history too - even possibly increasing the likelihood to converting this town into a city?

Cinema is very hard to get to if youre not fit. Disabled friendly it is not . Wont be going again.
