This is now called the Beacon and not the Arndale Centre and is in the midst of being Renovated totally and only part has been completed and the roof is even leaking already

It will be good when and if completed as the rest of the Centre still needs to be finished but this is probably a long way off

As others have said, the centre needs to stay open in the evening so that those at work during the day can visit here

A nice shopping center, pretty much anything you could need in one place. There are two natural food stores, lots of clothing and two grocery stores. A Lush which I love. Everything closes way too early.

During a holiday in Eastbourne, we visited the Arndale Shopping Centre. There is some building work being done around the main entrance and looks a little run down from the outside. However on entering we were pleasantly surprised with range of shopping outlets. The centre is having a thorough make over. There is a good selection of shops to satisfy most tastes. We had a snack in Greggs which was very tasty. When the redevelopment is complete it will be an even better shopping experience. Marks & Spencers, Debenhams, and many independent shops are nearby, which makes Eastbourne a good town to shop. The Arndale is certainly worthy of a visit.

A wet day so while staying the weekend in Eastbourne we decided to hit the shops. Centre opens at 10.30 on a Sunday but parking was full and queues down the street at 10.50am so we parked a few streets away where Sunday parking was free. There are a number of good shops surrounding the centre (Debenhams, House of Gerry Webber, Phase 8 to name a few). In the centre there are the usual shops (M&S, Boots, River Island, Top Shop, Claires, Primark, Bon Marche, Wallis etc). We managed to fill the day and spend some money which is always fun and my cousin and I always enjoy ourselves together so there was much laughter.

I could only find one set of toilets and they are both closed for refurbishment. How lomg that may take is anyone's guess.

This is a very old shopping centre and a little run down and dated. It’s all changing though and subject to a massive make over. Some of the new units are now open and is a real transformation. This will add to this lovely seaside town.

I love several of the shops in this center, but everything closes way too early! By the time I get there everything is shut. That said I like the ladies who thread brows and i love Lush. Also a good sports store and a small M&S :).

We came in here as it has a Hotter shop. It is quite busy and a bit dated plus on a Sunday many shops close at 4 which is rather early. There is a new part of the centre being opened soon.

Several ways into the centre and offers a good range of shops and eateries. Plenty of seating and toilets. Building work appears to be underway to make bigger in the future. A few of the usual harder sell Energy/TV/Charity stands in concourse but not too much.

We really enjoy visiting the Arndale and love the shops. My kids really enjoy the toy shop and enjoy eating in McDonald’s nearby. Just needs more places to eat. There’s no food court. Shops are great, restaurants and cafes are ok.

A larger than most shopping centres which is undergoing refurbishment and extensive rebuilding at the moment, it is a bit confusing as we were told conflicting versions of what is actually happening. However there is a nice mix of shops with the usual refreshment cafe/rest areas. A good place to do all your shopping in one place under cover. Nothing special at the moment, maybe the new works will improve it.

A good selection of shops inside and out.
Primary is a good size, And always tidy!!
There is A lot of building work and changes taking place in infrastructure, Hopefully once done it will Feel a more Organized and Fluid shopping experience.. At present, locating out of centre car parks is a bit of a Bunny Warren, and hit n miss. The car park of The Station, and ...Centre, where I Always used to park, as was good value for a Longer visit, has Sky rocketed in price, avoid..

I really enjoy shopping here. Got a lovely big Primark but do miss shopping in BHS! Can stop in the middle of the centre for a snack and a cup of tea. It is going to get even better as a lot of building work which will increase the size in a few months. Can also park here for the seafront which is not far and then shop afterwards.

This is located in the town centre next to the railway station. It is a large shopping centre and Kier are building what looks like a massive extension to the centre. This will make it very large.

Good place to shop even on a wet day.
