A hidden gem! Went on a Sunday and it was relatively quiet. Loads of very interesting hands-on exhibits which engaged both of my children (aged 2 and 5) for the entire time we were there. Highlights for me were the theramin, the giant Archimedes screw and the timed balance board (I'm rather competitive!!). Lovely setting and great to see the kids engaged in things that are simultaneously physical, fun and educational!

Very interesting with lots of hands on experiments for kids and adults. Helpful staff and good cafe. Car parking a nightmare on muddy grass , visit on dry days only!

Really insightful! Had a lovely day wandering around the grounds and had a talk about the different telescopes etc, great for families but we went as a couple and enjoyed it just as much! Only lost a star due to the cafe staff being rude and wholly uninterested
