I’ve visited Towner many times over the years. The current Eileen Mayo exhibition is excellent.
We ate in the cafe where I experienced the worst quality ham I have ever had served to me. I extracted the budget ham from my toastie and gave feedback to the server who, although thanking me for feed back, made no effort to offer recompense in any form. I will not visit the cafe when I next visit the gallery.

Excellent exhibition with 3 galleries, and 2 film exhibits and all free! Well worth a visit but will be closed from 21st March 2022 for 2 weeks.

There are some disabled parking places outside as well as a drop off point. On arrival on the second floor we were brought a wheelchair. Everything was very easy to see and get around. We loved film n the Jananne Al-Ani Timelines and were glad we went to see that first. The Eileen Mayo exhibition was a bit disappointing at the Erik Ravilious gallery didn’t have much on display. We also went to the café and the shop had a good variety of gifts. Free entry but donations welcome.

Have not been to the Towner for a number of years, albeit a 'Friend' of Tate, RA and the V&A.

Last time you were a dull Ivory. Do hope your psychedelic new paint scheme is here to stay.

Love it.

As always well worth a visit despite some major alterations being made on the ground floor. Interesting and enlightening exhibitions. Very good cafe with outside balcony.

An excellent gallery, providing a platform for perhaps lesser-known, yet exquisite art. Better than Turner Contemporary.

Well it really is a nice building and friendly staff but the artwork is such a disappointment. Modern art which is anything but.

So maybe you'll be lucky as there were three on, only one which you could say was half decent

Nice cafe though
