We enjoyed the Lucy Wertheim exhibition and our revisiting of the lovely Eric Ravilious water colours. The Towner is an essential stop on a visit to Eastbourne.

A nice compact gallery with an eclectic mix, some of which we liked and some that we struggled with from an artistic viewpoint. Also has a good shop and cafe on site.

Always great to visit the towner it was my first visit to the cinema very impressed I watched the Revilious doc film what a great film also went to the gallery there were some great pieces art work there this gallery is well worth a visit

Having seen that there was an LGBT themed exhibition, we had a walk to the gallery. Like the Art Gallery in Walsall, the concrete made it a little souless (although at the back we did see a nice wall mural that cheered it up).
