Going to the Dental Barn really doesn't feel like the stereotype of having to visit the Dentist. The experience starts with the location which is a short distance from Hailsham but in the country. No stress trying to find a parking space or dealing with the hustle & bustle of a town centre. Karen, the receptionist, is always welcoming with a smile and hello, the waiting area is quiet and rarely busy with tea or coffee on offer (as well as the obligatory WiFi). Alison, the owner & hygienist, is always happy and bubbly, in fact all the staff are friendly and charming. It is more like a visit to old friends than sitting back in the dentist chair. Of course, all this would be for nothing if the treatments themselves were not up to standard. However, I have always been treated extremly well in this respect; advised of recommended procedures and costs explained in simple and no-pressure terms. I've been to a few dental practices over the years as I've travelled around the country but The Dental Barn stands out for me as a shining example of how things can be done when the patient is put first, made to feel at ease and the staff pay attention to every detail.

I was made to feel like a person and friend rather than just another patient. The setting is extremly relaxing, modern, clean and friendly.
