Four years ago we purchased a modern but run-down house in Meads. We immediately realised that the whole property needed a thorough overhaul of it's electrical systems. Techtonic was recommended to us by neighbours so we engaged them to carry out renovations to the systems. They have installed low-consumption lighting, a new consumer unit, new alarm system, satellite TV (now replaced with Lightening Fibre technology) new telephony, two new TV's, new surround sound systems and high-power bathroom fan extraction. Currently we are discussing having solar panels installed together with battery storage. Highlights include reducing the number of visible switches and spurs in our kitchen from 24 to 7 without any loss of function. IMPECCABLE SERVICE! At 08.30 today I sent an email to James at Tectonics asking if he could install a new double electric socket in our house. At 09.30 Adam arrived, fully briefed and commenced work. At 10.30 the job was completed neatly and cleanly. Not only did Adam do the work perfectly he checked a severed cable in the airing cupboard to make sure it was safe, gave us a tutorial on how to re-set our Harmony TV remote control and showed us how to connect our printer to the WiFi and link it to our laptops. He will also investigate how we can link our kitchen TV remotely to a soundbar. The depth of knowledge possessed by Adam, James and Will goes beyond anything we've previously experienced. The team are not just electricians; they're highly competent engineers with an ability to interpret what their clients want to achieve and have the experience and knowledge to make it happen. We were initially recommended to employ Tectonic by our neighbour. Since then they have returned to our property on 6 occasions to carry out further works that we required. We have dealt with James, Adam and Will. They are enthusiastic, helpful, polite and possess a depth of skill and knowledge that is deeply impressive. Not only do they explain what they are doing they provide 'tutorials' about how to use the equipment they have installed. The breadth of their understanding of electrical matters has spanned the following; Complex LED lighting; a sophisticated alarm system; Sonos audio equipment; TV and satellite installation and set-up; HARMONY TV controller; exterior LED PIR's ; NEST central heating controls and their associated Apps. Moreover they work cleanly, logically and to time. We have further works to carry out and there is no doubt at all that we will ask the Tectonic team to return to our house.

James, Adam and Will; all skilled electrical engineers from Tectonic, attended our home on two occasions to install an intruder alarm, satellite dish and cabling, LED lighting, smoke alarms, extractor fans and new wall sockets and switches. They also re-tuned our Harmony TV controller. Throughout their time at our house they were polite, efficient, friendly and explained what the were doing all through the installation process. Their quotations were clear as were their invoices detailing what they had done and the cost of all components. They worked neatly and cleaned up after themselves. It is no exaggeration to say that they are the best electricians we have ever employed. We recommend them to anyone who requires professional electrical works at reasonable prices.
